Even if Kamala Harris becomes president, I just don’t have much hope that America can recover anymore. I’m close to becoming homeless and I see how bad medical care has become. There’s hardly any resources to help people, they’re all tapped out. Social Security could become defunct and that’s all I’m surviving on. I think it would be a huge mistake to accuse Repubs' characterizing Kamala as a DEI appointment as racism. There are myriad more explicit examples. Calling attention to her vice presidency selection by Biden where he had said, "I will choose a black woman" will not be helpful. The fact she launched her career on her back in connection with her intimate relationship with Willie Brown does not loook good. All will be forgiven if she leaves the word salad at the picnic and campaigns coherently!

The best thing for American voting is to get rid of polling and the electoral vote. Both are antiquated and a nuisance to the voting system, as are the bean counters who drool waiting for the next inaccurate poll to come out. Polls are limited to particular sources, random samples, etc, and are ever changing. It's best to take them for what they are, just a fleeting moment in time.
