Russia didn't invade Ukraine. The Ukrainians didn't honor the Minsk agreement and the breakaway republics wanted protection to from the NATO backed Zelensky regime which was trying to annihilate them. The war started years before the Russians launched their SMO. Calling it a "Russian invasion" distorts the truth and gives the false impression that it was unprovoked and unjustified.
