It's interesting when you catch him about to stutter still so he awkwardly finishes the sentence in an unplanned way. I'm not criticizing him. I really like Biden. I'm just pointing out that usually when he says things that people then make fun of him for, it's because he felt a stutter coming on. The trick to help stutterers past that problem is that they have trained themselves to change to a synonym on the fly. That doesn't always come out smoothly but it's better than stuttering on the original word or words. So when he tried to say "Continental Congress", he couldn't so it changed to "The convention that they were having".
