In a way, he did. Actually, in TWO ways, he did. Biden really doesn't have much to say. He has no real vision for this country. So by not letting him speak and show is neoliberal corporatism, Trump definitely helped Biden. At the same time, Trump not letting Biden speak showed him to be a whiny, pathetic, delusional child, a walking embodiment of the Dunning-Kreuger Effect. If you're running for President and you don't have that much to offer voters (in other words, you're Joe Biden), the best thing that could happen for you is that your opponent has a complete mental breakdown on the stage. This seems to be exactly what happened.

I would definitely say Biden won the debate. His stance on police reform and level headed, calm approach definitely shone through Trump's negative vitriol. His points on coronavirus, healthcare were good. NO he wasn't Bernie Sanders. Urging people to vote rather than Trump saying he's going to use the courts to scam a victory. But he certainly looked like a better leader than Trump that night, and by that metric he won.

Absolutely. He was just constantly changing the subject, arguing both sides of an issue, being as confusing and distracting as he could be. My best guess is he just wanted to distract him from finishing any arguments coherently (which he kinda succeeded at, I guess). On the one hand I think Biden could have done a better job not falling for the bait when Trump would bring up just utter distraction points. But on the other hand, Trump really is just so loud and obnoxious and hard to talk over, that it's kinda the moderator's fault not having any control of anything.
