President Biden sent a letter to congressional Democrats on Monday noting his intentions to stay in the race despite growing calls for him to step aside.
He wrote that he “absolutely” believes he is the best person to beat former president Donald Trump and would not be running if he thought otherwise. He also wrote that he thinks the question of how to move forward should end, effectively calling on Democrats in Congress to stop questioning his campaign.
Nine House Democrats have publicly and privately called for the president to step aside; others are defending Biden.
Biden invited Democrats who thought he shouldn’t be the party’s presidential nominee to challenge him at the Democratic National Convention next month.
“If any of these guys don’t think I should run, run against me,” Biden said in a surprise call to MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” show Monday. “Go ahead, announce for president. Challenge me at the convention.”
Biden also pointed to predictions that he and Democrats would not prevail in 2020 and 2022, saying that he had always predicted the opposite.

Ok let use google for a second here. Look up a representation of what the earths climate has looked like over 100 million years. Because according to science the earth has been through many back and forth periods in its history. We’ve had ice ages and points where the earth was so hot life itself almost died. And before you say that we’re accelerating it. We’re not, processes that take 10 million years to happen are not effected by much. Yes it’s getting hotter, yes the climate is changing, yes the weather is different than what we are used to. NO that does not mean it is anything. We need to stop focusing on the wrong things. We need to focus on getting rid of plastic, lithium batteries, and many other things that physically damage the earth. The earth will continue to get hotter and then it will get colder. But it will not stop us destroying forests, ecosystems and wildlife. Let’s focus on the real problem and not just a buzzword problem

Isn’t the federal government designed to set up the bare minimum in quality of education and leave the rest to the states? If there end up being states that don't even want to reach the minimum, then what?
@nathanielweber7843
@nathanielweber7843 Ай бұрын
No, the federal government is set up to decide what states need more money for education. Which would be great if the money was actually spent on education, but what actually happens is the government sees a state that needs money, and spends it all on administration plugs to have oversight committees that observe the ongoing education set up without actually changing it. These committees then deliberate for months on if a change actually needs to be made or not, and ultimately nothing actually happens. But now the school district has to pay that salary subset too, so either the district will raise taxes to cover it in a local bill for the school board, or it will cut programs like sports and music to retain money to pay administrative salary. Repeat until the school is a rundown shell. And then sometimes you get the really radical committees that decide immediate change is necessary because the committee members have a political agenda they want to push, which happens on both sides but primarily on the left as more left leaning individuals go into teaching careers or oversee the same which leads to more opportunities and temptations for the left to add a few talking points to a mandatory agenda. If you’re not picking up on what I’m laying down, the department of education is a waste of money and needs to be abolished and either restructured in a totally different format or left in totality to municipal governments and state level bureaucracy.

Then people leave. Like what happened when there was no work. People kept pushing to where the work was. And if what your stating is what happens, then there wouldn't be an issue. But it's not. It's if the federal board of Ed doesn't approve it you can't do it. Bwcsuse they are beholden to teachers unions. Which is why the dems are fully against school choice and voucher programs. They can't launder money to their elite schools if the tax payer decides which school their contribution goes to. The board of Ed literally controls education. Not sets the lowest bar.

They discontinually lowered the bar. There are some 5th graders who barely know how to read. The schools rather play politics than actually teaching kids and they're willing to crumble for every stupid demand enough people scream at them about. "the voters and voters alone decide the nominee." Fact Check: The Democrat primary has NEVER been free and fair election. The party, since its inception, has had two classes of voter: the constituency, and the delegates. In every state, the Delegates have just as much voting power as they constituency, despite being less than 1% in size. Each delegate gets two votes: one as a member of the constituency and one as a delegate. The Democrat party has used this system to maintain voting block power over its own voters to repeal and overturn the popular vote of the constituency. For example in the 2016 Democracy primary, the registered Democrat constituency, were they left to their popular vote would have nominated Bernie Sanders, but the delegates voted against the will of the people and used their equal voting power to overturn the vote and nominate Hillary Clinton. This is the same party that complains about the electoral college. "So? The Republicans do it too!" -inevitable comment of ignorance False. The Republican primaries are true popular vote with no elite class voting powers. Every Republican nominee has been selected by the constituency of the Republican party and not its leading officials.
