Great game, textbook case of a small early advantage snowballing into a crushing final advantage. Fairly defensive play by white but as Napoleon said "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."

I pointed this out on your Biel 2014 preview video. Hou Yifan's rating doesn't accurately represent her real strength, having dominated mostly lower rated female players. Despite the rest of her opposition having significantly higher ELO, if you look past that and take the actual quality of her play into consideration than she is more or less playing on equal ground as the rest of the opposition.

***** Its basically a fact that Yifan is much stronger than her ELO would suggest, she consistently draws and sometimes beats people in the 2700's and makes mince-meat out of men in the 2600's.

She mostly plays in female-only tournaments where even straight wins wont gain her more than 1 point and sometimes none at all. There are too few women rated above 2500.

Risy Shoyam Did you even read what I posted? I said that despite her 2600 rating, her real strength is somewhere along 2700. It's just that her ratings don't reflect her actual strength because most of her competition (women) are usually rated lower than men so she doesn't get much of an opportunity to increase her rating. I wasn't questioning her legitimacy as a champion.
