That shopping mall should be doubled up. It looks so good with an actual facade at the front, but that white wall at the back of it makes it look unfinished. Maybe some higher lvl German building could be place at the back, to make it more blend in with surroundings...other than that, the episode is very enjoyable like always ;) Biffa You're doing a great job ;)

Not the tram behind it either, it is not centered on the 3/4ters way of the building. Could you please center everything so that it is centered on the central Shopping Road? I would be eternally greatful. Other than that, off to New Brewburg!

Putting pedestrian paths and a park/cafe in a department store’s loading bay does look pretty, but I think you’re going to have some very irritated delivery drivers there 😊. Seriously though it looks great and a fun video

In Germany, yellow road markings are for construction sites. You won't find them on a tram or bus stop, except it is under construction.

Nice brickwork for the German shopping center, but in the back of the tram area, there is a delivery area. Notice the loading docks against the walls there? There should be some type of road there for trucks to drop off their goods. It does not look realistic.

Biffa, in the tram stop behind the store (17:40) you could just make a single stop and a loop for the green line. The yellow line stays the same and the green one passes the first entry and does a loop to get back in the route. That way you remove the need for the path and everyone can hop off in the correct side whichever the direction they came from.

Nice! Re the moved tram stop: Maybe change the existing wide road to a suitable road without tram tracks? And maybe connect the tram-only road with the complex curve tool to make the transition smoother? Re the parks: I wish that Cities Skylines had a mirror tool for buildings, like Workers&Resources do.

Love the new nationality themed areas in your city. At 22:50 there's a planter and tree on the walking path from the park to the back of the German department store. This area turned out really well and can't wait for the rest of the packs

Lovely stuff! For a touch of extra flare maybe check out which companies have moved into the department store and slap a giant billboard for each company on the back side. Very much looking forward to the UK additions to the place of course... low density row homes... I'll put the kettle on.

Not sure if it would have been possible to pull off, but I would tried to put the parking garage at the back of the department store with some kind of elevated walkway connecting it to the store. That way people could go from the garage directly to the store without being exposed to the elements when the New Brewburg winter arrives. Also, those blank white back walls on the department store would be perfect for some kind of giant banner advertisement starting from the top of the wall and going at least halfway down, something that you couldn't miss from the highway. Not sure if there is an element in the game that's actually big enough for it though.

I think the hang around areas have you be attached to an actual park. So the only way to get a "custom" park is to place a real park - delete all assets - then drag the existing hang around areas. It's not ideal, probably best just to wait until real support for custom areas.

I think your city looks really nice but I feel like you have a problem with mass gentrification, like all these parks and minimal development surely means that prices are going to be ridiculously high, although maybe that completes the Anglosphere aesthetic D. Maybe as a future video idea create a high density/low rent area to account for the super high rent?

Amazing build, really love this one! I've really liked using the one way pedestrian roads in road builder. It is one way for cars, people can walk both ways. No median so it is really narrow. Great with the new asset packs for some of those narrow European pedestrian streets. You can also use some of those textures to make them look like cobblestone!

Biffa, if you extend out the same surface in all of the directions you want, it will keep a consistent rock layout. It's a little more work, but the results, I think, are amazing. Love the build, glad you didn't do any "Biffa hard mode" stuff this episode...lol

Biffa - There really needs to be a few more paths connecting the train area road with the new shopping pedestrian area. I'd put in two over the far end - one by where the path from the parkade meets up with the walking path, and another by the corner behind the mixed use building is closest to the train area road.

I really like what you did with the shoppingcenter but the street looks too empty. I germany in a pedestrian area (and often in non pedestrian areas) you will find tables in front of restaurants and clothing or other goods in front of the shops. there would be benches and small trashcans so people can eat streetfood and small vendors for crepes or hotdogs or fresh fruit.
