Growing up I was lucky enough to be able to fly my grandfather's T6's. I wish we were have kept one of the airworthy ones. But the estate taxes made it impossible to keep something he saved from the scrap pile. Although I might have enough parts to eventually get the one that I ground looped flying again, so not all is lost.

The best show in Canada is not on TV. It is Mikey and his friends on KZbin. Once again Peter and Mary send a huge hello from Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia. Perhaps one day the Fokker will land at JAD McCurdy airport in Sydney? Mikey it would be great for you to visit the Silver Dart in Baddeck, Cape Breton Island. For your viewers, Baddeck Nova Scotia, is where the first airplane in Canada took flight. Again all the best from Cape Breton Island.

For Chops, just a fyi to keep sprays like that windshield stuff away from any painting or body work. the silicones or waxes can make their way to painting underway or worse get in the air compressor.and ruin it for future spraying paint.

MIKEY! You've got to be kidding me! One of my all-time favorite bands on Earth!! SWEEEEEET!! 🤘😬🤘 Back in the day, people used to tell me I looked exactly like Bruce Dickinson. I had the exact same hair, and always wore a leather jacket with tassles. 😂 😁 The 80's were a friggin blast. 👍 Now I'm listening to The Trooper - brings me right back to my old pickup truck back when I first got my driver's license. 😎 Many many years later, I became infatuated with aviation, and Bruce is a pilot! Funny how life goes!! Man, you've jumped several notches in the video & editing over just this season! Nice job Mikey! Loved Steve's update there, and also the "machining" work with Benjamin and Bobby. Crazy how fast that machine spits out wooden parts! Impressive! Imagine back in the day doing all that by HAND?? WOW ... Now I'm super stoked for Episode 8!! 🤘😎🤘

With Benjamin doing the Auto-CAD designs for the parts with help of a computer, the AXYZ machine it's linked to, Pascal (great name for a person working under pressure ;-) seems the Plane Saver team is poised to catch up to the Flight Chops Tiger Moth team. Was thinking that those who worked at the old Fokker factory would have be very jealous of the modern technology. German's could have won the war with such - lol..! Best wishes to both teams! Thanks Mikey for the update..

Bruce Dickinson is well known for his passion for vintage aeroplanes,he once came to Coventry/Baginton to fly the Air Atlantique Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer. Love those wing ribs that is going to save a lot of time in fettling those in readiness for fitting to the wing spars, and those deluxe jigs too look splendid. It is good to see this activity taking place both with the DH.82C and the Fokker Dr.1.

Yes, I went on a flight in the twin pin at baginton with Bruce, back in 07 or 08 I think, it was awesome, hopefully it'II return to flight one day.

Formed in 1975 and still selling out stadiums with almost no radio play their entire career. Bruce (the singer) has quite an aviation background and created an aircraft maintenance and pilot training facility known as Cardiff Aviation. He would be an excellent part of Plane Savers. Quite exciting.
