Question: are midfake beys getting more accurate in terms of size scaling and rubber quality now? I saw vids from 2 years ago where the mid fake like Pegasus would be taller than the legit one. Also saw that a mid fake L drago rubber was not as good at spin stealing than a legit. Has the quality of these mid fakes gotten so good that the rubber and scaling size are now accurate?
@R0MB4T6 ай бұрын
The Meteo l drago midfake is pretty good. It has good rubber, which is even better than the original. The only issue is that the performance tip is a little longer, but overall, midfakes are pretty good now.
@daylightcherry9503 жыл бұрын
I think the term midfake is a little misleading. They're still technically TT licensed beys, but the production quality is a little less, but overall if you get one of the good ones it should be almost identical to the original manufactured beys back in the early 2010's.
@daimyogt3 жыл бұрын
Thats a dangerous rumour dude that’s a myth without any proof, if anything they’re just fakes but extremely high quality ones
@daylightcherry9503 жыл бұрын
@@daimyogt I think if they were just straight up fakes they wouldn't be able to use the TT logo, branding, and everything that comes with it without being sued. And if you think about it it may make since that TT would license other manufacturers to make mf beys since they stopped producing the original ones; it would be a way to keep the mfb in circulation. That would also explain the price because they're around the same as when mfb beys were back in the day because they're recently manufactured. Normally straight up fakes would be much less, like from Rapidity, and the quality would be less too yet they are better than someone like hasbro, which means TT probably requires them to meet some sort of quality standard and may use the same materials. The lesser quality might be just because of cutting costs on molds or something. Either way, nothing can be really confirmed without TT commenting on it, which I wish they would just do because it still is misleading to think you're buying an original TT mfb from 2010's but it's actually a new different, slightly lesser quality bey.
@daimyogt3 жыл бұрын
@@daylightcherry950 There’s many fake Beyblade brands out there some of which have actually used TTs official logo what makes this case very surprising is the fact certain retailers sell them like beys and bricks but they also straight up sell rapidity aswell. Like you said without TT commenting on it, it’s hard to say but like every other fake brand out there they won’t address it. You actually can’t even buy these beys from TTs homeland, no official Japanese vendors sell these beys nor has TT come out and said they have which they would’ve. As for the pricing it’s very inconsistent you can find these from fairly cheap on Ali Express and other Chinese platforms & resellers like Portal0 will sell them for 50+ As for the quality no I wouldn’t say that especially in this day and age, look at the Fake Burst brand Flame, MQ and others, some of there sparking releases are shockingly good (lead aside) and they’re getting more & more accurate each year these fakes are usually also over £7 (in the UK) fakes have been getting better in quality and because of that an increase in price aswell. But I see what you mean with the misleading statement but I do believe telling people these are licensed is even more misleading as they’re most likely unlicensed fakes and some people buy these in bulk with the intention to hold onto them and re sell in the future and are usually crushed when they find out they’re not real. But like you said TT hasn’t addressed this so we don’t currently know the truth & probably never will as these have been around for a long time and TT trusts consumers enough to know they’re unlicensed as they haven’t personally announced it (Official site, KZbin Page & other sources), aren’t sold in Japanese supermarkets (Or re sellers) and are being produced in bulk in China which is a huge red flag (As they’ve been produced in Vietnam for a long time now) considering China is a major fake bey distributor. But for what these beys are they’re really good, personally I’m not bothered from their unlicensed use of Takara Tomy’s Logo as they’ve enabled many people to obtain beys that would usually be almost impossible and some of them perform really well (I’ve ordered more of these with more comparisons to come). It’s super easy to tell these beys are fake if you’ve ever purchased a real TT MFB bey before, mould quality aside they have rapidity tier stickers the box is super faded like really faded and some Metal Fight Baku/Explosion (Metal Masters) boxes show in correct launchers on the box, Light launcher 2 instead of 1 and like you said even if the quality was slightly lowered these other factors shouldn’t have such a huge decrease in quality aswell.
@daylightcherry9503 жыл бұрын
@@daimyogt Luckily most of the midfakes I've gotten are really high quality but this would explain why when I got a storm pegasus it wasn't as quality as it should have been and I was confused as to why. Same thing with a variares, the metal didn't seem as quality as it should have been, and the flat tip in the d:d bottom wasn't actually flat for some reason. Other than those two the midfakes I've bought have been indistinguishable from what I now know are my real original TT beys.
@daimyogt3 жыл бұрын
@@daylightcherry950 Yeah man, some of these Midfakes are really good, and some are just downright terrible! Even the metal clank sound some of them make when clashing is quite off. But for what they are they’re mostly super fun! (If you one of the better produced ones) what’s important is if we’re able to distinguish the difference between them nothing is wrong with purchasing them as long as you’re ok with fakes! I’ll be releasing more midfake comparisons later this month! Hopefully it can help people decide before they blindly make a purchase
