I just caught a very nice 9 - 10 pounder on a Rebel Pop R on June 22 2019. My biggest bass ever in my life. Caught on a private lake about 18 miles from where i live. Most exciting fishing experience of my life. Love your videos. They really get me reved up for fishing.

Fletcher.. I love these WP lures & have several of the 75s to use at a farm pond that is not fancy or kept pristine , it's a great pond with two good small islands, it's about an acre & a half with some good size Bass & Bluegills & man they brutalize these lures at all times of day but as evening hits it's like dropping depth charges when they hit them. A real blast & your right sometimes they hit a slow retrieve & sometimes a faster one & they will follow it right up to the bank on occasion & hit it when you stop & least expect it. Down at the Potomac River here in Maryland the smallies tear them up as do the large mouths & if your lucky the Tiger Muskies will hit it of course for Bass you aren't using any steel leader you may lose your bait but it's always a chance you take at the river. Thanks for sharing & slow down a bit LOL no need to rush your good time fishing. At this pond they seem to love the Bluegill , Perch & Monky Butt colors but i think it's mostly the dynamic action & sound that fires them up.

I don’t understand why people would pay 12$-15$ for 1 river to sea whopper plopper when you can get 8 whopper ploppers on Amazon for 16$ and catch a ton of fish. They basically are a bundle of 2-3$ whopper ploppers. I can’t commit to buying a lure over 10$ when i know im just gonna snag it lol. Those Amazon ones catch fish like crazy. If you see me using a whopper plopper it’s an Amazon one. If i lose one i can live with it because they’re cheap.

I just lost perhaps the biggest bass today in my life - I know, people tend to exaggerate, but nope, I was left shocked on the shore thinking what the f just happened. It also didn't help that people started to look at the commotion in the water. I would say it is at least between 8 to 10 lbs. The reason is because it is a nature preservation area - catch and release only so they get big.

my only baitcaster with braid is a heavy rod. That spinning rod is medium so it's way better for hookups with treble hook baits
