Why not just stab the gator then tie him on. You will need to use an extra heavy rod, but son, the action on a Florida gator will really get those bass moving.

I saw you once inside a gas station in Naples on Airport road When I looked at you, you looked back with a gaze that said "oh God, please don't bother me". We just went on our way. I left you alone. That being said, the whopper plopper seems like it's only good for two or three fish. The wire inside bends making it useless.
