You Convinced me to hit the Buy It Now button. I Have a 2015 CCar Precedent Lifted 3" 10" wheels, speed magnet, no other modifications stock motor and all. Six 3 year old Trojan 8 volt batteries. Noticing a decline in performance. Charging more frequently and loss of up hill endurance. Great excuse to go Lithium! Chatted with BigBattery and they have recommended the 48v Eagle x2 60Ah total kit, they said 2 batteries equaling the same Ah would be better on my cart than one. I run about 5-7 miles every other day and my terrain is hilly. Once they heard Hilly they suggested to go with the 4 battery kit...... I ordered with your discount code Thx, the x2 Battery Kit. If this works than fantastic, if I have to add a 3rd Eagle 30Ah then OK would be the same cost if I had ordered the x3 from the get go..... Here's to hoping I don't need 4 batteries tho!

Thanks for the great golf cart videos! I'm a DIYer with a 2000 Club Car DS that's been modified with an Alltrax controller and D&D Motor Systems motor. OBC was bypassed when the OBC went out. I try to squeeze every ounce of power out of the setup, so the four year-old lead-acid batteries have become unhappy. They need frequent charging and are all bulging. I'm tired of constantly cleaning and maintaining the lead-acid batteries so am switching to lithium. Thanks to your informative video, I chose the Big Battery Eagle kit with two Eagle batteries and all the fixins' for the conversion. Using your coupon code I saved $150!! The total is about the same price as replacing the lead-acid units. Thank you!!

I don’t use my cart a lot anymore . I used to use it all the time for hunting and work around my property before I became disabled. I had to replace all 8 batteries just a few years ago for $1300! I put in an Alltrax 500amp controller years before installing my last new battery set. I need to replace my batteries yet again and this price is much better than more lead batteries. I live in the south and have to frequently add water more than I have in the past for some reason. I can smell the acid when I go out to my shop to use my cart and I don’t get any range. I used my cart last to help gather pine straw for my flower beds and pulled a lawn sweeper to do so. I didn’t get half of the flower bed filled before I lost power and barely made it back to my shop. So I definitely need new batteries. I’ve just found your videos and had no idea these batteries existed at all. My only issue is the install. I’m mechanically inclined so I can do a lot of things but for some reason the golf cart intimidates me. My disability will prevent me from lifting the batteries. Plus I have no way of adjusting the controller because I only have Apple devices and I see you have to have windows to work the Alltrax software. My local golf cart guy is shady and the next closest to me is about an hour away. Is there any tips or advice that you could give for the install if I could get help w the lifting etc? Are there instructions that are easy to follow? Thanks.

What do you think? Any help appreciated and thanks for your videos nice job.

Well If you watched the video I used one falcon elite in this cart for the video. This cart has the basic 6" lift 23" tires with a navitas ac system. I ran this cart 35mph for 20 miles on one battery. I've got 2 of these batteries but I wanted to see what the range one would achieve. This one battery is rated at 360 amps for 5 seconds and 150a continuous. This one battery amperage output is still more than the eagles and one of these is equivalent as 2 eagles ah. I also show you how to save more money on this system. But the great thing about big battery is if you need more range in the future, Just pick up another battery and drop it in. Its like having more fuel in the tank. I have the amperage on my navitas ac set to 200a max. I usually run mine between 180-200, The higher you go with it the faster it will reach the top speed. Remember though, if you hammer the gas pedal in your vehicle to get to speed quicker you are just burning more fuel, The same principle applies to this except you loose range.

Thank you for the reply I appreciate the info. I feel like the falcons and eagles are true battery replacements for 48v carts. The ah rating isn’t as high on the falcons and eagles as they are on the badgers. If your cart is stock I think the badgers may work fine for you.

If these batteries will work on a golf cart that has been upgraded they would be great for a stock golf cart.

Made in America if I’m not mistaken. I have the dual eagle setup and love it. Also from a distance perspective for golf. You aren’t driving 35 mph. More like 15. Great option for golf.

Hi Ryan, I recently got the falcon elite kit and I'm concerned about the charging. The voltage meter on the battery was flashing between 54 volts and 58/59 volts so I unplugged the charger and then it read 54.3 volts. I was worried because I know you're not supposed to charge the falcon elite over 58.8 volts. I have the big battery PW003 charger. How do I know when the battery is fully charged? Hope you can help!
@Fentertainment7 ай бұрын
Standard lithium iron phosphate batteries charge around 58.7v. Once the battery is fully charged it will be around 53-54v. Nothing wrong at all. The bms in the battery will tell the charger once its done.

Hello, I have inherited a 2003 Club Car DS 48 volt. It currently has 6-8 volt batteries. Will be adding a lift kit and larger tires. Other than that it is completely stock. Please help me out and tell me what lithium battery I need. Would one of these be good enough?
@Fentertainment Жыл бұрын
It sure would, what type of range do you need? 20 miles per charge, 40 miles per charge, 60 miles per charge?
@jkm460 Жыл бұрын
I was possibly thinking about going with one of these batteries and possibly getting another down the road…. What range would 1 get vs 2? Would I need to do any special wiring for 1 battery vs 2?
@Fentertainment Жыл бұрын
@@jkm460 no special wiring. You could get a distribution black for your positives and negatives, they actually sell those. Run all your positives to one and negatives to the other. This one battery on this test did 20 miles at the end of this video if you didn’t see it. If you didn’t see that then you might have missed the discount code to save money on your order as well.

@@jkm460 another battery would just double your range. That’s what I like about these. The price point to start and easily upgrade the range down the road.

can i put the 48v eagle LiFePO4 in a 2007 36v easy go and if not, why
@Fentertainment Жыл бұрын
You can if your controller is compatible for 48v. Then you would need a 48v solenoid. You need to remove the controller and on the label is will tell you either 36-48v or just 36v.

Ryan, please help: Navitas data log showed my battery needs to be replaced. I have a club car precedent with the same navitas 600amp controller and motor. I want lithium for 30 miles at 72 volts or more at 48 volts but really want lithium @ 72v. What can you recommend that will work and now break the banks. There are so many options I don’t know who to ask or talk to. Any help would be appreciated. Not that it matters but I happen to do upholstery for a living so I could help you out on a project for you knowledge and assistance :)

2 of these batteries in parallel will give you roughly 40 miles. 1 did 20 in the video and I’m running the navitas ac 600a kit on this cart. Big battery just came out with the husky 2 which is 100ah. I hope to have that video out this or next. I really like the big battery brand but don’t get the badger as it’s not a true 48v battery or really made for the navitas system. Bigbattery also has a 72v battery that I will be trying very soon.

Hi, is it possible to convert these golf carts using EGO batteries?

Maybe if you have a ego mower with batteries, I just dont know if the ego batteries bms will handle the amperage that the golf carts are pulling but I guess you could try.

Why do you need multiple batteries? Whats the benefit of a 2 or 3 or 4 lithium battery set up?
@Fentertainment Жыл бұрын
I explained it in the video. If you jumped around you probably missed it. This one battery has a 60ah capacity, this is the amount of run time the battery can discharge. IF you add another battery to the system then it will double since you run these in parallel. Meaning it would go from 60ah to 120ah.

This one lithium battery will replace my existing six lead batteries? And will it qive me the same power as stock or more? Every is stock on my cart. TIA
@Fentertainment Жыл бұрын
@@chrisreese6456 This one battery is 48v but only 60ah. The stock 6 - 8v batteries are roughly 100ah. The AH is the capacity or range you will get but In this video I did 20 miles on a single charge with this single battery. My golf cart in this video isnt stock, it has a navitas ac 600a controller 5KW motor and did 35mph as shown. Yes you can replace your 6 lead acid batteries with this single battery OR you can buy the Epoch 60ah Kit with a waterproof charger, dc converter, Amp/Voltage Gauge, Noco Plug and HD cables and achieve the same distance for the same money with my coupon code "FENTERTAINMENT" as well. The Epoch battery kit uses 2 48v batteries, they are the same identical size as a stock 8v battery. @@chrisreese6456 The epoch batteries are 48v 30ah each and that why if you go that route you need a 2 battery kit. Epoch maybe a tad cheaper in price and includes more of a kit for your cart. I just wanted you to make the best decision, not trying to throw a wrench into things
