Was watching live today (5/1) and #2 just walked right up the nest just like he had been doing it from day one. He is a smart one and has started to fight back at "miss bossy pants". Love these guys and their great parents. 🦅❤🦅

I agree, they need the sides built up. I don’t remember Stormy or Little BB trying to climb out until Stormy was much older. As they get older they will back up to the nest edge, lean over frontwards and let their poop fly.( part of nature). Love the little bobble heads!

They are amazingly beautiful! So curious and busy, and they are just getting started. I noticed they were mouth breathing. Perhaps from a combination of physical exertion and warm temperatures? I know I worry about the cold nights if they are wet or exposed (last year), but if they are still unable to regulate their body temperatures at this stage, I assume even too much sun could overheat them. Jackie seems to know what she is doing and is keeping a close eye on those little cuties. She and Shadow are going to have their “wings” full 😂 So delighted we get to share in their life adventures vicariously through this great live nest cam!!♥️🦅

❤ It's nice to look back & see them so tiny. Simba is already bigger than Cookie , but what a strong bond they grew! 🤗 It's hard to believe , it was exactly 1 month later & how much they had grown.. The day Cookie passed away 😥🙏🏻 Simba never let him go , always sleeping next to his dead brother.😥 Eventually Cookies bones became part of the nest , which is part of the Eagles way. A very sad second year for me to experience in watching these gorgeous Raptors. I'm sure Cookie is always at Simba's side 🦅🦅❤ Now its 13th February 2020 & we wait with baited breath while they sit over 2 eggs❤🙂 I wish them so much love & that important bit of luck for them both to survive & fledge this year. 🙏🏻🤞 Lots of Love to Jackie & Shadow ❤ Thanks LH ❤🦅 🐱♏☯️🦅🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

There are no bullies on this nest. These are just two eaglets being eaglets doing what comes naturally. Aggression is normal and is a necessary quality to have when they are on their own and have to survive in the wild. :)
