Big Bear Eagles ~ Jackie *SHARES* Her Fish ~ Simba Gives Mom A VERY SPECIAL *GIFT* 7.13.19

Simba ate very well today with 5 deliveries of fish! Jackie flies in with fish a large fish and Simba rushes down from the branch to see what she brought in. Simba already had a full crop from previous feedings. Jackie begins to eat and also shares her fish with Simba ♥♥ When she is finished, she goes to her branch and Simba gets something very special for her.
At 14:11 Simba uncovers a trout that was brought in earlier that he did not eat and he looks at Mom and drops it in the center of the nest and then walks to the left. He left his fish for her as a gift!! Jackie sees this and rushes down to the fish and begins to eat it - offering some to Simba ♥♥ Simba is not hungry and he goes up to the left branch. When she is finished, he vocalizes and comes down to the nest. Jackie will feak her beak and our sweet boy Simba will lay down to rest in the nest! Thank you for watching!

Simba is an extraordinarily rare eaglet. His caring and giving ability will make him a treasure as a mate. He is an old soul and very mature in his thinking process. Love the bond these two have and I hope that one day we will get to witness his natural loving instincts with a mate. Whoever she turns out to be will have won the lottery!! Thank you, Lady Hawk!! I've never seen another eaglet do this. Perhaps because he's the only eaglet something like this is possible. Even so, I've never seen one actually to to their stash & offer a fish. He's a special fellow. Love you Simba!

I was watching it live when it happened and I couldn’t believe my eyes when he did that. I have never seen an eaglet do that. He was so proud of himself and wanted his mom to have it. She knew too and came right over and gave him a couple of bites, but our boy was stuffed already. That baby is definitely a Mama’s boy for sure and I think Mama kind of likes it. It was for sure a, You had me at hello, kind of moment. 💜💜

Thanks for posting, Lady Hawk! Hopefully Simba will do the same gesture to Shadow. When Simba finally fledges, is it common for Eagles to eat as much fish because by then, they might lose body fat because of their physical exertion to fly. I also wonder if Simba was ever thirsty, for water, while he still stays in the nest area?

937 Jackie is saying “ this rascal! “ and looks far 1022 he did it again! LOL she’s like “wait a min...... wait that was a good piece” and try’s to get 1112 again and keeps giving him all her food! At this hour simba already had 5 fishes? 1229 she walks over to get back her meal! So so cute!

It look like to me that Simba was very very hungry, just like he couldn't get enough. Then Jackie eats the whole second fish, I've see her tangle a piece of meat in front of him and then take it away and eats it herself......what is that?????
