I was at work, and during some downtime was watching this and caught this live as it happened. I could not stop laughing. It got to the point that my coworkers stopped by my office and saw what I had on screen. They thought it was the cutest thing ever. I've been watching nearly non-stop for about 3 weeks now waiting for him to fledge. I say let him be a kid for a few more days. He has the rest of his (hopefully) long life to fly. Let's enjoy young and silly Simba while we have him like this. LH, I had a feeling that you would post a video on this. One of the cutest videos of the Year from any nest. My first eagle loves were the three Amigos and now Simba has made me laugh more than ever. What a character he is. I just love his curiosity, his smart caution and testing and his temper tantrums as many as there are! Lol. Jackie handles him like a pro!! I will miss him so much when he flies off on his journey. It is September 7th 2019.. Jackie and Shadow showed up a few days ago at the nest otherwise it's been quiet for over a month. So I'm doing what other people are doing revisiting Great Moments and I consider this one of them. What a smart young little monster.. yeah everybody knows persistence shows intelligence. Hopefully in the future he will be seen nesting with a female like his mom.. His purple Corvette band giving him away . ( along with his opinionated vocals) We all miss you Simba💝

I have just watched this twice now, Simba has an endearing personality; I don't want him to fly off, I know he will. We go through this every year, I hope he stays for a few more days. That is just adorable, like so adorable that I just want to pet & love that guy! 😊❤️ But I do know that he’s a Wild Eaglet, as even if I tried to get close to him for Example, he would just get scared & fly away. I mean, if he was tamed by someone & became someone’s Pet, he might then accept & being petted & loved, most likely only when he knows me or so. But because he’s, again, a Wild Eaglet, at least do I & to rather enjoy this cute & adorable moment with him being really close-up & just like playing with the Cam or whatever he’s doing, almost like preening it or so. However, Birds are what I happen to like, as some of them are cool, cute, adorable, even all of that. Also, something interesting about that Eaglet with the Name of Simba, my Grandmother has a Cat named Simba & he’s a tame Cat, who especially likes being loved & cuddled & whenever I give the Cat Simba some love, when I sit on the Couch or Bed, he happens to like jumping onto my Lap & even when possible, laying on my Lap, as he likes to snuggle, while I’m giving him some love & even listening to him purr, as he purrs somewhat loudly.

@@ladyhawk I don't think he got anything . She flew in the nest Simba was holding her foot. When she broke away he frantically looked tore up Cookie pieces, mad and even Jackie was looking at him in his hissy . But using zoom I don't think she had anything in her talons upon landing for the night. So poor lol goofy Simba today spent all that energy and either lost the tiny fish or just got norhing. He is so funny with the camera. And got out onto a scarry branch today too. But he's getting it. So mad at mom tonight. He shoved his way onto the high branch. Then wing slapped mom again.
