I love Jackie’s alerts. I bet they resonate all through the canyon. He’s so cute when he grabbed the fish from dad, his feathers all puffed, he look like a little gnome. A cute one that is 😊. All eaglets get the urge to fly and once they fledge they can’t get enough if I had those wings I would fly too!

Prince Simba has no reason to leave. He has a multi million dollar view, he's got slaves (mom and dad) delivering gourmet meals throughout the day. Not only that, but they even feed him. They spend time with him, including mom perches with him at night. Very few in this life get to have such a privileged life as our beloved, spoiled rotten, yet sweet Simba.

Yes, he flew into the tree, earlier. In slow motion, he flew right to the nest and grabbed his fish. It seemed as though, Jackie was calling for her mate. Both let Simba eat on his own without claiming any for themselves.

Did catch this D Luc and was so happy seeing him fly to the nest; however, correct me if I'm wrong but think Simba isn't quite there yet, wonder if the confident level is there and boy I have to wonder if he wants to leave. Tho, would like to see him stay as long as possible. He's very content there at "HIS" nest. LOL.. 😂 SO funny how he chases away Jackie and Shadow from the nest!! Is this normal behavior D Luc?? Honestly, this is the first time I've seen an eaglet chase parents away from the nest like this. I have seen them very aggressive and chasing parents away from their fish though. He is definitely one of a kind. I've never seen an eaglet have to get chased away, but I have heard of it. He doesn't know how great he is yet, but he will one day very soon IMHO

Super video moments & I love that you do slow motion too. 👍🏻 Simba is such a needy & chatty character 💞 I feel he must've had some trauma from losing Cookie - it was obvious to see they all were affected. He must feel the call of the Wild , but is he ready yet? To me his flight feathers look a bit ragged. I saw him stuck out on the big branch all night & Mum wasn't moving!
