I was with the 101st and I was heading back to Iraq in 2003. We were waiting for our flight in Atlanta's airport. When I looked up there was Jerome, and I went up to him and asked for his autograph. He was such a great guy that made my day. Thank you Jerome for taking your time, being so easy to talk to, and giving me your autograph!

My wife and I ran into Jerome at a music store in a mall in Jacksonville in 1996. The Steelers were there before the Monday Night game just hanging out. Ben's statement that Jerome is a true professional is spot on. He was so nice to a couple starry-eyed fans that day. It made our trip.

BEN! This is so cool. You can tell you and the BUS are truly friends! The banter back and forth reminds me of my immediate and my friends, and we’ve been life long friends. You and Spence are doing great things. Thank you guys! My company would like to sponsor you😉

Bens the man too!!! Miss seeing them both out there on sundays man. Those years was the best never be the same!!

Jerome “The Bus “ Bettis story on HOF was awesome, his rookie QB Big Ben telling him he will get to superbowl next head if he comes back was great story I’ll never forget that year as Steelers fan the run to the superbowl and winning the Super Bowl was amazing year and one of the best teams in football especially the Defense

Actually my fave is the clip they have on NFL films where Bus is telling rookie (Baby Ben 2004!) Ben "it's no big deal - it's just football" and Ben repeated it. They are so gold together!

Being able to see that SB win as a little kid (around 8 years old) was one of the best things that could ever happen to me. Seeing Jerome and Ben's story moved me a lot. I played football for 8 years after this, all thanks to 'The Bus'. I will thankful for living this side by side with my father, and I will always be a Steeler fan.

Man this was definitely one of the best ones yet!!!! Just when I thought some couldn’t be topped y’all did it again!!!! Jerome Bettis was literally childhood idol & favorite football player!!! He made me feel like I could do it too. I was the thicker RB in my peewee days because I knew if Jerome could do it so could it & I modeled myself after him & was a mauler!!! Man I appreciated this interview being able to see my favorite Running back of all time w my favorite QB just being themselves was like a dream come true. Felt like I was sitting on the couch just watching. So happy for this one man!! Jerome is hilarious & just as funny, humble & down to earth as I imagine. What a guy man. I was a huge Jerome fan at ND, even though I hated ND (haha). I will never forget his game against Florida. When he came to Pittsburgh, it was a blessing! My fave all-time player is Thurman Thomas (with Ben right there too as 1A, though I don't know if I can put Ben below anyone!!!), but I always had Bus up there in that pantheon. I just love too that he was duking it out for LB supremacy with the great Pepper Johnson! I LOVE Pepper!

Hi guys. Love the show. Great Ep 36. Got one for yinz. Born & raised in Monessen. 1972 - the catch; 8 yrs. old, little brother 7. So poor we had to listen to it on the radio. I remember lying on our parent's bed and when we won, jumping around on t so hard I nearly pushed him out the 3rd story window. I do not recall how long it took to finally see it on TV. That was it for me. Terry became and remains my favorite of all time. Sorry Ben, Jerome, all my love as yall are very close. Now, 1973 got to see Joe Montana play my Greyhounds when he was at Ringgold High School. Around that time, Doug Crusan, Eric Crabtree, Sam Havrilak, Bill Malinchak came home and my brother and I ended up in a Pic on the front page with them. Micheal Moorer - first Southpaw Heavy Weight Champ and I went to school and played ball together. All that said, growing up in SW PA has undoubtedly set a standard within me I can attribute my families' blessings to. Thanks to these roles models as well as what yall continue to bring to Steelers Nation year after year. The ONLY bummer growing up, Ben hook me up, Wide World of Sports used to grant wishes weekly, I know, you were too little to know this, I sat down and wrote them a well-crafted letter simply asking to catch a ball from Terry on the Field at 3 rivers Stadium. I waited for weeks with no reply. Dang Black n Gold HATERS. LOL. Have a wonderful weekend.
