The same style of defense that made the Steelers dominant in the 2000's just couldn't be sustained in the 2010's. Same thing happened to the Ravens. What an odd circumstance for Big Ben's 1st start. Mother nature thrust him into prometime and he performed well enough. I kinda miss the old formula for success of the early years of Big Ben when they ran the ball more. I forgot that Duce Staley was on the Steelers that year. Looking it up this seemed like his last productive season as he was on the way to the end of a pretty productive career.
