Love me some bacopa! Bought one plant a while back and now I have it in 8 tanks because it just won't stop growing.

Ok, I’ll try them again. I’m a longtime Bacopa killer 😞 I will say; however, I can tell the difference btw the Tropica plants and the Florida plants (not knocking Tropica at all). The Florida plants are WILD! In a matter of weeks, they are nearly at the top of the tanks! Color is amazing as well! Vid idea: Planting new plants from unpacking (taking that dang foamy cotton stuff off) to tips on appropriate substrates. I know you have talked about these things in various vids, but an all in one would be cool 😊

More plant videos please! Every time I KZbin a plant because I want to know what it looks like in action instead of a JPG on a site I only find videos from 10 years ago in 480p or videos of 10 seconds with some next over it. The internet needs more plant coverage ❤

I actually would like to see the 'bronze' bucopa! When I'm looking for aquarium plants, I, of course, get a lot of green plants. But I actually LOVE to have red, purple and other color plants to break up that green just a bit. I mean, if you look at natural ponds, streams and lakes, pay attention to the plant life in and around them... they are not ALL green, there are other colored plants too! So, unless I'm doing like a fantasy themed tank, I like my plants to look as natural as possible, and that means different color plants.

These plants grow amazingly fast, I mean right before your eyes, I will see it in the morning at a certain height and swear by the end of the day the stems are taller. 🌱

I threw a 4 inch long cutting of a single stem of bacopa in a tank once... that thing grew into a bush the size of a beachball in just a few months

I actually have a ton of bacopa in my shrimp tanks and use NO ferts, root tabs, or liquid fertilizers and they get nice and tall and even have red tops. They’re planted in pool filter sand too. Besides mosses and anubias, bacopa has to be the easiest aquarium plant at least for me.

I will have to consider these for my 29 gallon with gravel. I have liquid fertilizer and fish poop to help them grow.

I tried really hard to get moneywort going in my tank. It struggled and would never get going. Root tabs and all. Trying pogostermon octopi this time around instead 🤞

Any advice for columnaris? I have a 60 gallon guppy tank, heavily planted, with mystery snails and trumpet snails. Anywhere from 50-90 guppies in there, the vast majority are babies. Columnaris deaths are slowed to about 1 a week, and they have textbook symptoms before they pass. I'm loathe to treat the whole tank with salt or meds for fear of hurting the snails and plants and/or disrupting the nitrogen cycle. Isn't there some sort of medicated food i can feed them?

New to this addiction, I set up my aquarium with regular coloured aquarium gravel from pet smart, using root tabs would I be able to get this to grow? And would you recommend this over Rotala?
