I have a tetra 29 gallon Aquarium. I have 5 red eye tetras. 1 black skirt tetra, and 1 neon tetra. Can I put in 1 male Betta or 1 female Betta in my Aquarium?

I would add the common pleco (hypostomus punctatus or plecostomus plecostomus) to this list. You can't find a pet store that doesn't sell them and they easily get to 18 inches or bigger. There are lots of armored cats that are better, like rubber lip plecos, pit bull plecos ( probably the best algea cleaners out there), that stay small.

I just swapped a tidal 35 for a AC30 and gotta say the AC30 is better, it has less bulk in the 10 gallon tank and actually has a intake tube that gets further down in the tank. The only advantage the Tidal has is the motor and impeller are in the tank so water level can get lower and still start up. The AC30 also has a lower top profile. Decent filter for sure.

This is so helpful! I did something weird and rescued 5 bettas from Pet Supplies Plus when buying dog treats one day... I watched this video... they all had 10 gallon filtered heated tanks. 2 sadly lived with me for 1 year. They tried, they did improve for a while but never really toom off. I lost 1 the night of the Paul/Tyson fight, so had him 2 years. I have a boy and girl left. The boy is having some fin rot issues which I am treating.🤞 The girl is doing great, so far! I've really fallen in love with fish keeping! I'm giving the last 2 my full attention, but when they go I have found an awesome legit local fish store with excellent healthy stock. They only ever have about 8 bettas at a time in gallon tanks and they always look amazing.

I only keep wild Bettas, and definitely not the long fin Betta splendens. The mouthbreeders are some extremely interesting species.
