Try a pinch of garam (salt) and ketapang (indian almond leaves) in your betta tanks, there’s nothing they love more. aside from food. People say that they’re not a brackish fish and don’t need salt have no clue where they come from. The rice fields and ponds have salinity. Every breeder and keeper in indonesia uses salt, and the majority of betta sold here are imports. The best information you will find on betta is from indonesia and searching “ikan cupang” will take you to those KZbin channels. Best of luck 🙏🏼

In my personal experience with African cichlids in general.... When it's full of hiding spots and decorations.... It made them even more aggressive!!! I would literally watch them pick each other off when they swam past... After taking pretty much everything out it curved the aggression drastically but that's my experience and A few people I know who went through the same thing... But I have also heard that people have had success with decorations and hiding spots for them...I personally will probably never ever consider them again because of them killing majority of my favorites 😂... Lol that's a lot of money to waste

Please help me my tank is in cycling period and I added good Beactria ( Mircrolife S2 ) in my tank but by mistake I overdosed it! According to it should have added 10 ml as per my tank but by mistake I added 60ml of it and I don't know what to do, will it be a problem ? How do I manage it! Do your think it’s a Good idea to mix dalmation and black Molly’s together ? I have a 40 gal tall and I want to add 10 Dalmatians and 10 black Molly with maybe some invertebrates I also have a idea of 10 of each Molly and 1 of those plecos with the white and black spotted zebra pattern I don’t know the exact name since there are diffrent named plecos that look exactly the same. What do y’all thinks ? Is it too many fish? Will the different Mollys get along ? and will the Molly’s get along with the pleco and invertebrates ?

This happened to me though not my fault I got a pleco from my local pet shop down as a red marble told it gets no bigger than the size of a hand 🖐 I camera lensed her when she got bigger turned out it's a sailfin pleco immediately my partner went out and came back with a much bigger tank for her she's a foot and a half with tail and I adore her she even likes a wee fuss now and then if she's in the mood

I’ve tried many brands in the year I’ve been fish keeping koi/goldfish in an outdoor pond, bettas and a tropical community tank. In terms of growth, color enhancement, palatability/accessibility I’ve found that hikari and fluval are the winners for me. I’ve switched to hikari wheat germ for autumn, but when I was feeding hikari goldfish excel as a staple in the summer months my koi/goldfish never looked more vibrant - and it happened very quickly when I switched to excel. For my betta I switched to betta bug bites formula and hikari betta bio-gold - and I noticed the same quick color enhancement when I included the bio-gold in her diet.

Regarding the babies eating the slime coat of the parents…how does this apply with breeders that used foster parents ?
