@endurotruckererniedesjardins7 жыл бұрын
Adam you fuel leaks are likely happening because you are using the wrong type of hose clamps. you would get a better seal using actual high pressure fuel line clamps. the clamps your using I wouldn't trust on a carbureted engine which is under 15psi line pressure. fuel injection pump 50 plus psi line pressure. if the line blows off or starts leaking at high pressure you'll have another fire but only bigger then last time.

Little tip for you on those fuel lines. They make hose clamps that is better suited for fuel injection line. The hose clamps that you used can damage the hose from those little rectangles cutting into the hose while fuel injection hose clamps are solid and are less likely to damage the hose.

Alberto is Yoda! "Remember, you make 340 on a Dynojet before. This is a Mustang dyno. So it has more load to the car so it actually makes more power than that than on the other dyno." Love that guy!

Adam, noticed you used a standard gear clamp on the injection line.. Gear clamps will work. But the tend to dig into the rubber and ruin the hose. They make injector hose clamps. They look slightly different , cost a bit more.. But well worth it. My 2cents

I got petrol in my eye once. Was watching a few classmates do an asignment on changing a fuel filter (this was like first year of automotive class, so really basic stuff), the one that comes right after the fuel leaves the tank. So the car was up on the bridge,, and we were underneath the car, they had a hose clamp on the fuel line, took the filter of, removed the hose clamp and it sprayed fuel directly in my eye. That sucked, immediately washed it out with water and never had any issue's afterwards lol

I have things you might be interested in.....First light sensor thingy. A cheat there would be to go to LED bulbs on that circuit. So instead of running say 4x 60w normal bulbs now your running 4x 3 watt LED bulbs. Not the correct way to fix but a workaround. Next......You can get Stainless steel zipties!!!!!!!!! You need these cos they are cool, you have a incomplete zip tie collection and you also seem to like zipties in hot places :P Finally with your fuel system you should check out "EFI Hose Clamps". Same idea as low pressure version high pressure hose. A little bit more but WAY better with high pressure. My fuel system used to stink till I changed and they are easier to use and don't fuck up the hose either so just a now brainer! :)

***Adam, hopefully you will see this as it is regarding your throttle issues you previously talked about*** I know you were having a random issue with your throttle feeling weird and I happened to notice in this video that your throttle cable is not installed properly and is loose/wobbling around. Where those 2 nuts are on the threaded part of the throttle cable, that bracket on your intake manifold is actually supposed to be in between the 2 nuts. That's how you would normally adjust your throttle cable to be sure it's tight. Those 2 nuts tighten down with the bracket between and hold the cable solidly in place.

350 on Mustang Dyno is easily 375 on a Dynojet. Mustang Dynos are known for putting more road-like resistance on the car and are better for tuning, while throwing you car on a Dynojet will give you the biggest numbers to brag about.

Adam, I wish I could have sat you down and told you not to buy Bear paint. Best bang for your buck paint is Sherman Williams Super Paint, if you get eggshell finish its tough as nails and its not too expensive. Only get woo roller pads HALF INCH, and solid. Ive never used that roller handle I use two piece extension poles, I hope it doesnt break on you. And This is super important Brushes, you need quality, Corona are the best, brown are for flat, pink is for eggshell and pearl finish. Use a stain brush for stain, and brush the stain on, 3 coats, then do 6 thing coats of poly for floors.
