If you use gacha, tesalan is able to 1 shot the cyclone with a critical and can solo the stage at just level 20, you can always force close if you get unlucky but it’s the easiest way to beat the stage imo.

for this stage I just used some defense up combos for first strat and used housewife because even if the metal hippies push the housewives will still attack the base and I also paired crazed ufo with my level 40 cameraman and used normal cow cat instead because my crazed cow is level 1 btw cpu isn't even needed unless u suck at spamming units

You're dealing too much damage to the base before Super Metal Hippoe spawns, that's why metal Cyclone can spawn

you can also use king dragon or dragon can and some other long range untits to hit the base and for the meat sheilds use any special like coin cat,boogie cat etc

That's because this boss a metal enemy, only critical attackers can deal real damage to them, otherwise it does 1 damage

Yes, but I assume a beginner will use Defense M Combo (which includes Hoop Cat) to get Cyclone Cat, so I didn't use it in this stage to prevent circular reasoning

Maybe, what you use to kill the base doesn't matter as long as you get 2 enemies stuck behind the base, the metal cyclone will not spawn anyway.
