I'd like to thank you 2 gentlemen for your time and educating us about bream , i knew the start of fishing season was the 1st full moon in march but i did not know when bream season started , well last summer i ate a bream and that little ole bream sure was good eating , now after watching you gentlemen fish for bream , i'm thinking about going to walmart and putting together my own bream tackle binder kit so i can use the kit just to catch bream may through october , now in my opinion November is very questionable , but im so excited i cant wait for the month of may now.

How do you dislodge the hook on deep hooked fish? I have found this to be a major problem with using live bait. Not so much with a jig,

You talking about some good eating right there!!!! I don't keep the trophy size ones but them hand sized ones mmmmmm mmmmm mmmmmm. Cover them fillets in yellow mustard, then roll em in season flour, throw em in hot pan of bacon grease, or peanut oil. Fry em Golden crispy brown. I'll step over anybody's crappie to get to that. Everybody crazy about crappie but i 10 to 1 rather eat a bluegill or white perch

Do bluegills spawn during moon phases everywhere there are bluegills or is that a special thing there? I live in Wisconsin and am wondering. I thought they only spawned once a year in the spring!

It’s the same every where. Just be mindful of the water temp.

What does the aroma or scent smell like?
@BrushPileFishing2 жыл бұрын
It is kind of a pungent, fishy smell. Hard to describe, but once you smell it, you will know. Kind of like mushroom hunting, once you spot one, the rest are easy to find.

If you fillet these perfect size pan fish, you don't deserve to catch not one.
