I think editing is a big factor. Big Brother edits are more fair to women because of the existence of live feeds and watching the show live, so they get a more equitable shake. In Survivor, the whole season is edited before airing, allowing chances for unfair edits (and an existence of Edgic) to let producers decide who the characters are.

Imo Jonny Mac and Judd are in a very similar boat, kinda like how Judd and Shane from Survivor are but for a very different reason from those survivor players. Two very likable characters that are amazing comic reliefs. They’re both super chill, and It’s a travesty they both haven’t return.

As humans, we are not free of sin so nor is our translations. As a Christian, I believe that God loves His creations and made every single person in His image. Eh, for BB22, I would have went with Dani Donato Briones before picking Nicole F. Dani was part of a lot of the same drama Nicole was in for both Janelle and Ian. Plus, I always really hated how Nicole F would constantly complain about how people would treat her in the BB house whenever something didn't go her way. I mean, if Nicole doesn't want people in the house to give her a hard time, then why does she keep trying to come back?

Unpopular opinion: I thought Beau was the only likable member of the Friendship alliance in BB6. Even though I didn’t like his advances towards Kaysar, he didn’t constantly talk smack about the SOVs like his partner Ivette always did and he actually seemed to have a pretty decent relationship with Janelle and Howie whenever they weren’t fighting. (I love how he and Janelle became really good friends after the show.)

Yeah, BB2 Nicole was really interesting. She complained a lot, yes, but she was raw and so unapologetically herself. Plus, her rivalry with Will was entertaining and he even admitted that she gave him a run for his money in terms of gameplay, which I can agree with.

Here's my BBCAN (since I'm Canadian) and US rankings. Any I've skipped are seasons I haven't watched in full and/or hated enough to not have a favourite character. BBCAN1: Gary (glitter is everything) BBCAN2: Jon (If I could put somebody for a single moment, it'd be Ika and the letter shredding, but overall I feel Jon was more of a character) BBCAN3: Geoffrey BBCAN5: Karen BBCAN6: Johnny BBCAN9: Kiefer BBCAN10: Marty (I wanted to pick Kevin, but he's too gameplay focused) BBCAN12: Spicy Vee I guess...it almost got into the hated catagory, but I'm too meh about it to hate it. BB2: Doctor Will BB3: Marcellas? I think? BB5: Cowboy (my opinion would probably change if I could rewatch) BB6: Kaysar BB7: Chicken George BB8: Evil Dick (as a kid the story between him and Danielle was so rootable, idk if my opinion would hold up on a rewatch) BB10: Renny, but really the whole cast lol BB11: Kevin BB12: Britney BB14: Ian BB15: Amanda, in a horrified way BB16: Donny BB17: Austin BB18: Bridgette (I just loved her so much when I watched, she's so sweet) BB20: Brett BB23: Derek X? @@kentompkins7957 That's fair, I didn't watch live either and I wonder if my opinion would be different if I had. I'd say there were a few reasons why I picked Kiefer. Firstly, I just enjoyed hearing about his First Nations background. I'm white with little exposure to other cultures, so one of my favourite parts of reality TV is learning about other people and their experiences (even if it gets a little preachy/over the top sometimes on the edited show). So I was so happy that he talked about it so openly, and I found those personal segments extremely interesting. I can't help but compare his representation to Josh from BBCAN10, who is also Indigenous but we just don't hear much about his background there. Nothing against Josh btw, I really enjoyed him too and not all representation needs to look the same way. I just think that given how systemic racism is for Indigenous populations in Canada, it was important representation for BBCAN to have. I also just found him a fun character, even if sometimes it came off as trying a bit too hard for the camera. I'd much rather somebody try a little too much than too little, and I still felt like there was a genuineness behind everything even when he got a bit much. And sure, he was unaware of parts of the strategy, but that doesn't really affect my overall view of a character. That and while I really like BBCAN9, I don't know if I actually love any of the people that much as characters. Like the antics of that season are a glorious mess, but at the same time I didn't exactly *like* Tychon, Beth, and Jedson who were the most chaotic. And Spicy V burned me after BBCAN12, I might have picked her before that season lol

(This one was BRUTAL because this is one of two seasons where it’s very obvious that no one’s having fun) 5-Marvin 6-Janelle 7-Will 8-Jen 9-James (I guess?) 10-Dan 11- Russell?
