I'm in Staley NC and I smoked a big old warrior 9p the other morning! He was grunting all way in behind a hot doe ! I laid eyes on a even older what looked like a 10p yesterday at last light! I went this morning and hunt was ruined by dogs fkin running round!! I got disgusted and left but the ruts going crazy in my area rt now and I'm loving it

New hunter here, is rifle hunting from the ground allowed here in NC? I realize it’s not ideal but I tore my Achilles a couple months ago so no climbing for a good while.

@@mtnman1 first off welcome to the brotherhood! Hunting is one of the most fulfilling lifestyles you can take on! Some counties require 8 ft off the ground or above with a center fire rifle. Check your county by county regulations. Take it easy on that foot and hope you have success this season!
