Big CARP fishing in weed - August 2023 vlog

This month I talk you through my approach for tackling weedy waters. I'm fishing a venue with some savage weed beds that are top to bottom in deep water. I look at my set up, tactics and the gear I'm using whilst landing some big carp to over 50lb.

Nice watch Simon the dreaded weed my Cambridgeshire syndicate gets choked up with weed strong tackle fishing almost locked and straight on them rods is a must for me it’s always trying to present the bait in the weed can be difficult lovely lake that btw 👍🏻

Used to use 20lbs subline, size 4 chod twister on a helicopter style rig with a rotten bottom. Rod tips slightly in the air with as tight a line as I could get and like you semi locked up. Everything was pegged down as well.
