SO from what I got from this stuff is that there will be more planes out there, significantly lower HP on those planes, which means more planes to shoot down and more clear skies hehehe. As a CV and DD player these changes is in a way a buff for all dd's. 1) These changes gives cv players zero incentive to spot ships for their team especially going out of their way to spot hard to find dd's. 2) Few extra bombs with reduced damage will be useless even if you do score a hit on a dd. Plus torps can't be spotted now! CV players are better off ignoring small dd's all together and focus on being able to land more bombs on bigger targets to maximize damage. 3) Fuel limit can be a huge factor in deterring cv players from chasing small and fast moving dd's.

I got the Graf Zeppelin in a crate awhile ago, I saw it's getting a decent buff so I'm going to be happy to try it, tho the best buff war gaming could do to it is increase the sound of the Stuka siren. Put some fear in to the enemy!

It seems to be that they r giving carriers a more individual role in game just like all other classes

I personally really like carriers and play them pretty frequently. What this update is doing overall is slashing the range, plane hp, concealment, plane accuracy, plane regen, while giving more planes. A little bumbed a video ive been working on for 2 years about cvs is basically trash now......

Totally agree. We had one role if played properly, that is find and spot destroyers, and put out some damage or finish off ships when we can. Whats our role now?

Wow I looked at the patch notes myself and some carriers are going to be swarm machines. Suppose a godzilla/ kong comming again for aa improvements. My aa machine is flint as it has smoke. Can not shoot what you can not see.

The unique skill for Justinian Lyons, Celestine's Blessing reduces the damage you take while Damage Control is active by 50% when fully upgraded. And that's a Slot 1 skill. The buff will give it a 25% reduction in DC time instead of 50%.

Dunno about the cut hp for airplanes. I mean kagas planes cut by 750hp are going to get blasted even more now and there are more and more super heavy AA ships

I must say I hated this cv update very much. Now cv players has nothing better to do but take out the most tanky or highest hanger size cv and attack anything they see. And since now the plane regen so fast there is nothing holding to lose.

so catapult fighters and spotters wont be able to spot ships like i got a catapult fighter on my ohio what will it do?

They just answered in dc. So basically fighter planes only shoot at enemy planes now and spotting planes only give the accuracy bonus with neither spotting anymore at all. This includes no more spotting torpedoes with the planes. Discord Princeblip - Today at 2:25 AM So here's your TL;DR CV strike planes will spot for the CV player. For the teammates CV planes will only spot the enemy on the minimap, not in 3D Catapult planes (fighter & spotter) do not spot enemy ships anymore. Airplanes do not spot torpedoes at all anymore.
