The thing is my main task IMO is to spot dds and keep them spotted until they are sunk.how the hell can I as a CV do my job!!! For 4 year's all I heard was " CV s need to spot dds for the team." Well, now what? And no torp spotting! May as well just remove cvs completely. SMH

When they gave the example of 30km of 'range' for ac, that sounded kinda high until I remembered that most T7+ BBs have a max range of 20km, so yeah, any CV that reverses to the back of the map will have virually NO TIME to spot ships and make drops. That's a very welcome change! Also so glad that I'm not perma-screwed in my DD if a carrier keeps me perma-spotted. And I can't wait for those extra planes with less health to come for me in AA ships! Maybe they could give us multiple 'Clear Sky' medals in a game? 🔥🔥🛩🔥🔥

Overall this update is pretty good. More planes, more payload, and no more engine overheating is just fantastic. Hopefully Wargaming doesn't go to crazy with the nerfhammer. As for the spotting thing, I think Wargaming are understandably trying to make DD players' lives easier. At the moment a CV can just use it's planes to circle an enemy DD until friendly surface combatants send the DD back to port. The change makes hard focusing DDs more difficult, without going overboard. The thing i'm most upset about is no Yorktowns.... like bruuuuuuh

Still not really sure what their goal is here. Are they trying to make carriers less annoying? And won't this partly kill dd hunting? Not complaining as I generally dislike cvs. I guess I'll just have to play them and find out.

Honestly some things are good i can get on board with the fuel the more bombs but less damage trade off but some changes only sound good to people who despice carriers so now i cant spot dds for my team its the main reason i play them ill just have to try the changes and try to adapt but not likeing it so far

My main concern with this is that the fuel on aircraft will be so high, itll effectively be a moot point anyway. I dint relaly ever see an aircraft carrier sending planes 25+km to hit something. We'll have to see though.

The thing with fuel is it limts the time out great good change, but how fast is fuel used up, this lowers DD countering along with no torp spoting, now with lower health less damge per drop. Means as you said more planes need to be used, but AA is not getting a rework drops are hard as it at high tier getting chewed up by AA and that is with the old HP, now to rush them to attack how fast well the CVs be deplaned. It should have been lower HP for more damge as you well get taken out faster but if the attack goes of and its you get more damage. Or higher HP for less damage, But as said more planes need a lower restoration time but the restoration time has been update to be longer even though most get 2 per time, thats still not that great, its like if guns on a BB that takes over 1min?

This will help Pobeda with its Jato 7 km planes and only single drop needed, 1 skip plus kinda sucks

Damn, thought they would put easter eggs and trying to see if Enterprise was any of the carriers. Guess not.

They did say they wanted to bring Enterprise in with meaning so maybe with these changes they can do that now. With that said…seeing how we got this before PC, makes me hopeful Whisky comes to us to finish out the Iowa sisters (july update?!).
