I live in Sweden in a small town with 1000 people my whole life i am 21. There are no grocery stores, hospitals, restaurants, bars, parks no nothing. A lot of elders and children live here but I don't have a drivers license. It feels very isolating with no friends and contacts no jobs. It gets very cold and gray most of the year and no activities. I think moving to a big city would get me going since I'm spending so much time online listening to people from cities. I feel a bit failed by society. The us seem to have more of a community but i might be wrong.

Same here, living in a big city is trash, most people need to rent because they can't buy a house, the food is expensier and is basicly sinthetical products with too much chemicals (a people who have grown in cities won't notice but when i went to a city i clearly could sense how artificial food is) , most available jobs are low paid and overexploiting because of competition, people generally are too stressed and easily get mad, hospitals are expensier as well, many people are very afraid to get sick because of that. The only ones who can genuinly live good there are people who does have a house and have a very well payed job, if not you will be living like a rat in a small rented apartment Most of your life.

What I’ve noticed is that In city’s simple things seem to be priced up a lot, I aslo like the freedom and peace of living in a town becuase if I want to go for a hike or something In the town I live in all I have to do is walk behind my house and there’s a gigantic forest with lots of nature and unexplored areas. Whenever I go to big city’s I’ve noticed that the air quality is not as good. People also seemed to be just constantly on there phones while walking around and no one makes eye contact or anything if you try asking them something, the people also seemed less freindly and it felt like the sense of community was lost compared to towns. In city’s aswell Everythings very far apart and spread out whereas in my town I can ride my bike from one end to the other in about 10 minutes. There are some other reasons however I feel like quality of life in a town is much better and people seem to be more happy and connected with a lot less problems and worrys

Never ever ever move to a big city, especially Chicago, crime, drugs, broke and poor people, gangs, loud and nosy trains. Shootings, trains crossings everywhere delays. Trust me NEVER EVER EVER LET YOUR LIFE GET STUCK IN A BIG CITY, IT IS TOXIC AS HELLLL.
