Stumbled upon this channel somehow. Joy to see a fellow Canadian, from Ontario like I am. But the biggest surprise is you are from my hometown of Osgoode Village in rural Ottawa south. Way to go Eric. Turns out I have been using your drop off bin for dropping off surplus electronics for the past couple of years. I love garbage picking, recycling, online selling and flea market KZbin videos. You are now amongst my favourites like Taco Stacks, Blue Bus Dave, Tucker Upper, Scrap Farm, Tall Dan, Scrap and Pallet Man, eWaste Ben, thubprint, and others. Love the content on your channel. Keep up the good work.

Vacuum cleaner and flat screen tv parts sell good. This are the only things I pull apart and list. Don't cut the cords you get more selling them on ebay. I hate driving past a vacuum and the cords cut off harder to test and lost $. I'll still make 50+ off the rest of the parts but 60 is always better.

I’m a city boy that’s spent a ton of time in the country in the NE US but I’ve never seen ground cover change colors! That’s a gorgeous piece of property!!!

The yellow tubing you have in your bin is actually stainless steel tubing used for gas distribution. Remove the yellow jacket (very easy) and the you'll have clean stainless steel!

We bought a Pontiac vibe for 800$ topped out at 299999 on the odometer to use for a year or 2 until it died and that was 8 years ago. they are wonderfully reliable, especially the manual ones.

That rectangular bit from the boiler is called a plate heat exchanger. They’re actually awfully expensive. If it’s in good condition you could probably get 50 bucks or better on your eBay store. Just a heads up

Grateful for another video. You’re son has seen you out of commission due to your back. Probably be a good idea to remind him of those times and suggest he watch a few videos on how to safely lift and also that it’s not weak to ask for help.

Hi Eric and Family: Great video. Really enjoyed it. Very nice non ferrous cash out. Yes, our lumber prices are crazy expensive too. I've been a scrap wood saver for better than 30 years
@metz12harofreak4 жыл бұрын
Lumber costs are up because us in North America has used up all the lumber sawn and dried before the Corona hit. Its so slow now because of the lack of workers at sawmills, and logging companies not running at full capacity. And with a lot of people being out of work they worked on their houses, and took up woodworking, so that put a hurting on the lumber. So now we have stupid high wood prices.

Sure glad i pick up any good wood i see laying in the trash. Couldnt imagine paying 8 dollars for one 2x4 is pressure treated going up also?
@metz12harofreak4 жыл бұрын
@@Momentaryghost Pressure treated is hard to find. And yes its going up in price too for sure. Same concept. And, it requires more bodies to produce PT.
