Lucky enough to see Stu, Tony, Mark and Bruce 25 times all over the country. Get right in front of Stuart pretty much every time. Nothing better, sublime individual musicians and together pure poetry. Had the pleasure of talking to them on several occasions and as a drummer myself, mark is one of my all time heroes. Just don’t know why I haven’t seen them since Stu passed. Not a conscious decision. Greatest music i have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Maybe I ought to go and see this line up again?!?! It’s about the music I agree and keeping Stu legacy alive. Just a shame Stu couldn’t practice what he preached. Stay Alive! Sadly missed big man.

I was lucky enough to see Big Country at the height of their prowess, Wembley Arena Steeltown tour I think. Fantastic band, but I don't think it is unfair to say Big Country was Stuart Adamson. Without him it is just a tribute band. Fair play for keeping the legacy alive, they have some great songs that would likely be forgotten by many. Stuarts story and demise is a tragic one, such a loss, needed help but turned to the bottle.

The singer playing acoustic guitar did a fine job. I can tell that loves big country music. The singer from the alarm was also a fan of big country. Its looks like a labor of love from both replacement singers. The band seem ernest and they are trying to keep the songs alive. Big country songs have a righteous sound. No other band has that quality.

Some of the unsavoury comments here .....Jeeze!. Wonder if they'd be content if Bruce and Mark renamed the group 'FROM A BIG COUNTRY' ...aka just what Bruce Foxton has done with 'From the Jam'. Of course it's not THE Big Country that we know ....but THOSE TUNES, THE MUSIC AND THE ENTHUSIASM OF BOTH BRUCE AND MARK alone warrants giving true BC fans the chance to see the guys and hear the tunes again. Each to their own eh!. PEACE TO ALL and remember .......STAY ALIVE!.

With all my respect to the band, without Stuart it looks more like a tribute to Big Country...

Breaks my heart that my favourite band of all time have been reduced to being a tribute band and a shit one at that playing pubs… Stuart must be turning in his grave at the thought of a pub singer trashing his classic songs…. This is pure pish … neither wonder Tony wanted nothing to do with it…. FFS please stop this garbage Bruce n Mark
