ARNOLD MCGLASHAN Flew to England in 1998 to see them play in the upper Lake District at a community center. The original venue canceled because the staging didn't get approved. The promoter quickly found another venue. Met the boys backstage after the show. Nicest guys ever!!

seen them live at knebworth 86.....if queen were not the main band that day i would have said it was BC, the next day i went out and bought all the BC albums....brilliant live..brilliant on vynl......so sad stuart didnt feel that way....what a tragic loss to the music world...RIP Stuart thank you for what you have left us to listen to...

I think he must have been accident-prone. Not surprising with their live style. At one I went to he came running out from the side of the stage for an encore song, tripped, went over face-first like a sack of the proverbial - breaking his ribs on his guitar, the music press later reported - and carried on for a few more painful songs!

I saw them at the Hollywood Palladium with my best friends from school. It was the greatest show and the best night I will never forget how happy Stuart looked at the reception they were getting in Los Angeles. I love Steeltown to this day.
