My dad bought me my first car (a used 77 Toyota celica, a bit beat up) in 1984 and when I picked it up and drove it home, I turned on the radio. This song was playing. I felt like I was in heaven, I felt free. It was the 1980s and I was in high school with my whole life in front of me. I was driving a car. It was a Houston summer. The traffic was jumpin. Brings back memories of a time in my teenage years when music was everything, all encompassing and deeply emotional. I loved Big Country and had the great pleasure of seeing a few members of the original band perform in Melbourne in 2019

Never heard of these guys before and this was first song I heard. I like the song on the album, but this live version is fantastic. That's the hallmark of a great band-the ones with live recordings just as good if not better than their studio releases.

Most of the people on the floor, in front of the stage.....were they local regulars? I heard the show let the regulars in for free because they did great at recording. Everyone else was looking at the cameras and the lights. What was the local hangout nearby after the show was done?

How awesome is this track, how brilliant is this band, they are having a ball playing this classic, no egos on stage, no thousands of wanker dancers or back up singers, God I miss genuine bands like Big Country!
