One of the best bands of the decade. When people talk about why the 80s was the last period that gave us genuine musical individuality rather than the mass produced mindless crap that dominates the radio today, this is what they Mean! How many of today's songs will still evoke such feelings of nostalgia in 30 yes......not many I suspect. God bless Big Country for giving us music to get inspired by.

One thing I notice from watching these TOTP videos, whether it's this show, American Bandstand or the show we had here in Canada for many years Electric Circus, all the people dancing on those shows look like they're having a ball, having a great time. That's really what it's all about, good music (who cares if it's lip synched) and good times with people having fun. I wish I could relive those wonderful days all over again....good times and great memories.

well... there was an evolution in the programme, in the beginning the audience was rather still and passive, but someone decided it should all be a bit more enthusiastic so people were encouraged to give it their best. Still it's not 'Soultrain', if you see those people getting down, that's something else :-)

People suddenly died to give our own mind to meditate , Where are dead going to be after departing from the living ?? There is a beauty full hope, There will be a day of resurrection , They joy will be so full of enchantment , death will no longer spread the fear, And we will sing, all together, with angels and millions of who knows, right now we want to see more , We will then know all about the infinity and beyond because God will take the vail so we can see and learn where the word Love come from.Rest in peace the Singer , Resurrection awaits him.
