The first trip for season 3, with Big Daddy Baits.
#Modderfontein Reserve was the venue of choice and it certainly did not disappoint.

Garlic floats and my yellow garlic dough.

How do you book to fish at this place ? And what fishing spot did you fish at ?

Hi Kevin, I sat at spot 1. You go onto quicket.co.za, you have to create an account, go to events and type fishing. It will bring Modderfontein up, select your spot, pay and then print out your reservation. It sounds like a major process but it’s actually easy. R200 per spot and you can fish two people. Pack light, as you have to walk from your car to the spot. There is usually some to help you carry. Then you stand all day and catch fish because they keep you that busy!

This is the easiest dam ever but trust me you have a gym session there... Been fishing there for over 2 years and the most fish I've caught in one day is 62

Spot 7,8and 9 is the better size fish we average from 50 to 60 fish in four hours there but if you go fruit flavours works amazing bt banjo is a must there

It's R100 per fisherman and R35 for picnicking

Hi Luke, you can see what company you would like a sponsorship from and apply with them. Provide sponsor incentives, so how can you help them! Show them what you have achieved in the area you want to be sponsored, build a net work over time and basically just be you. If a company likes what they see and sees potential in you, they will approach you. Always be honest and true to who you are. That’s a very simple “in a nut shell” version!
