I love that he's not just a great guitarist, but he's so good at explaining what's going on and how to use these methods.

I wish Dan didn't switch the the V shape..That's one of the coolest explorers I've ever seen, and I'm not a huge fan of the new EX shape, but that thing is just awesome with the blood on it.

You clearly have no idea what I was talking about, follow the conversation please. Dan Jacobs is my favourite guitarist in the world, not the best but still my favourite for personal reasons. That comment had nothing to do with him. And I do have videos btw, go check em out! :)

@Cra5hnatural Yeah there maybe be better people then him but he had his chance and he does what he loves for a living and he dosnt sucks at just listen to songs like bleeding mascara and stuff some nice sweep picking taping and over all hes got a solid soloing style, to me it sounds very van halen influenced but you gota give him props dude hes got that taping shit down and you cant say somone cant deserve what they have worked for the past 10 years

@Cra5hnatural i know i could probably find tons of guitarists that are better than him, but for his music style and genre he is one of the top , and you probably haven't ever really listened to many of his songs to begin with and just judging him off a few.

@richd1913 Watcha taking bout Willis synister gates solos are good but a7x solos are played by 2 guitarist at the same time like if you have you and a buddy the solos aren't that hard to pull off but atreyu solos are played by only one person Dan Jacobs or if he feels jenorus hell let the other Guy play it but really a7x=2 people atreyu=1person so have you tryed playing atreyu solos by yourself their a pain in the ass Anyways "The more you know"

Mustaine invented Kirk's style, kirk still uses all the techniques that Mustaine used in the first album. Metallica just can't find anyone else to fill the void so THATS why Kirk is still in that band.
