Tip for Mark. Its going to be annoying to do but as long as you have +/- 100 rounds available at a time you can easily keep a good stock of bullets. Use paper towels and rubbing alcohol to get the stickyness off the rounds. Just soak the paper towels in the rubbing alcohol and wipe the rounds. It should take care of the problem.

@@anthonybowman3423He is wrong. Sharks are fish. Fish is so broad that it includes so so many fundamentally, biologically different species under its umbrella, but sharks are still fish... Saying he's "kind of right" would be like saying someone who thinks a dolphin or a duck is a fish is "kind of right" because both go in the ocean. No...............
@quagmire_hippo39418 сағат бұрын
@@anthonybowman3423 To be more specific, they're called cartilaginous fish. Mark IS that wrong. Fish are highly diversified in a similar way to every other animal. You wouldn't say a kangaroo isn't a mammal anymore than an elephant is a mammal. They are both mammals still because they are both mammals. Sharks are fish just as much as any other fish is a fish.
@anthonybowman34237 сағат бұрын
@@quagmire_hippo3941 I would argue that fish have random outliers that are FAR stranger than most other animals. Because life began in the water it has sprouted out from that point far more than most any other. Practically half of all fish are more related to land dwelling species than they are to the other half of fish. And when you have so many weird edge cases like whales that aren't fish, but lungfish that are, it's a very forgivable mistake to miscategorize one of those weird creatures swimming around in the ocean.

(23:19) "A BUS THAT KNEELS FOR PEOPLE" IS INSANEEEE LMFAOO
@loganl37466 күн бұрын
You've never seen a kneeling bus? If you've ever noticed a bus let out a sound like a stream of air before people get on, that's what it's actually doing. The entry side lowers some inches so it's not so strenuous to step up. Idk how common it is, but it's because our bus design doesn't have stairs (to allow for an extendable accessibility ramp)
@ConstructedSpace6 күн бұрын
That's a real thing. Busses, especially ones designed for accessibility, "kneel" (that's the term for it) i.e. they have a hydraulic system that allows them to lower down, so they're easier to get onto from the curb/side of the road.

40:20 From what I’ve read, wisteria is a type of vine rather than a tree. It also seems that there are three main species of wisteria: Japanese, Chinese, and American wisteria. American wisteria is native in the southeastern part of the US from around Virginia to Texas, though it may also be found in Florida, Iowa, and New York. Chinese wisteria, however, is invasive in mostly the eastern part of the US and is reported as invasive in at least 19 states from around Massachusetts to Iowa and south to Texas. Japanese and Chinese wisteria tend to to grow higher than American wisteria, and American wisteria has smooth seeds pods, while Japanese and Chinese wisteria have fuzzy seed pods. (This is just what I’ve read, so take this information with a grain of salt.)

Hello! there are multiple reasons a gun won't cycle. Brass expansion, double feed, dud round, how cold it is where you are and finally the quality of bullets. Even though bob is technically correct if your gun won't fire, yes pull the slide back but please please please don't just think that's a magical fix. Still actually look inside the the magwell at the chamber and see if the round is still lodged in it. Sometimes you have to use a knife to get it out. But if you have a round stuck and try to fire another that's how you kiss your hands goodbye. Please be safe everyone.

If i need a knife to fix a jam then the manufacturer has made a bad design for a gun.
@themonsterman33273 күн бұрын
@@ktgame2640or the particular gun has seen far too much action and/or has been in treacherous situations that lead (hehe) it to being jammed. There's many .22 pistols out there that don't jam super easily and jams don't necessarily come down to bad design

Posting here in the off chance the Distractible crew see this. .22 and .22 LR is great to learn and practice with. It can also be useful for varmint hunting and some self defense situations. However Mark, if your using older ammunition you can experience problems. This is also an issue with proprietary or "unique" ammunition as quality can vary widely. If your .22 LR is coated in something thats...odd, to say the least. I've personally have never seen any .22 coated in anything before. You also mentioned that it was discontinued and, well, that could be because of it's poor quality and not because it was "green". Another thing to make note of is that some guns are just poor quality, or in some cases require a "break in" period. Meaning you could have a firearm that is in poor condition (especially if you purchased it used), or could just be "stiff" and will function with a little TLC and running it enough for it to loosen up. I have an old Mosin Nagant that took almost 200 rounds of 7.62x54r to finally not be a pain to work with. I also have a Zastava M70 pistol in .32 that required a tear down, liberal lubrication, and running through dozen mags before it cycled properly. So, depending on the gun and ammunition, you might need to find better ammo and lub tour weapon some for it to run right. I don't know what make and modle of .22 you have so I can't exactly look up if it is know to have any issues. Hope this helps some. Cheers from San Antonio ^_^

Whale sharks are still sharks, and sharks are fish. They're just not boney fish. It's only whales that aren't fish.

Arguing over what is and isn't a fish is the most pointless thing I have ever seen so many people do at once.

sharks are fish, whale sharks are sharks, so they are fish. They have gills. The inaccurate part of their name is the "whale" part, not the "shark" part. For reference, whales are the ones that are mammals and come up to breathe, whereas sharks have gills.

Bob, it sounds like your basement needs some encapsulation (closed cell foam on rim joists, spray down the walls, the works). It used to reach 15° in my basement but after the insulation my basement stays 51° even when it's 10° outside. You should also see if you can change the cap on your exhaust so it points slightly downward to shed snow and ice (so it won't freeze up).
