I love that you talk about the history and production behind the dolls you get when you can - I find all this stuff SO interesting. Ahhhh I didn't realize Balala is over a decade old - I wanna find more episodes online! I've been meaning to watch Ojamo Doremi, I've heard nothing but good things about it! Fun fact, the artist who designed Doremi also is behind the designs in Heartcatch Precure!

There's a toy shop near me that still has a ton of the poopsie girls brand new. I don't know what's different about this toy store but they sell out of new stock super fast so the majority of their shelves are all old and no longer produced items. And they're one of the only places where I am in Australia that actually gets in the new bratz as well

Make It Pop came out when I was in middle school. It always interested me, but honestly it didn't last very long. Falls into the surprisingly large category of "obscure Nickelodeon shows from the mid-2010s" that hardly anyone remembers lol. The dolls look pretty great imo though. I'm glad that you were able to track them down ^^

For the Doremi Characters - you have Doremi Harukaze and Aiko Seno in their transformation outfits. Doremi is the main character and it’s pretty much a cute magical witch girl anime. Idr when the dolls originally came out, but I know I found them at a discount store in a different packaging with a dvd of the first 2 anime episodes quite some time ago. More recently Goodsmile made some nendoroids of each girl though to

Great haul! The Doremi dolls are by Bandai and seem to be legit (I went through a HARD phase with that anime and bought similar stuff), but I've never seen them in that packaging? I know of the French and Japan versions, so maybe this is some kind of China only release I'm not aware of? They're missing accessories that the other countries version's have, like their non-magical girl outfits. Also their names are Doremi (Pink) and Aiko (Blue). :)

Those Doremi dolls are such a great find!! I've personally been trying to hunt down the American versions boxed since they come with DVDs that happen to be the only physical copies of the English dub ever released. They're so expensive now. Really kicking myself for not getting them as a kid.

I managed to get my hands on one of the Winx Enchantix pens, I got the Stella one and i got lucky cuz it was in an auction and I ended up placing a bid last after 10 other people had and usually when an auction has that many people and at a low prize there is always someone who places a bid in the literal last 5 seconds to guarantee their win but this time i ended up with her.

_I always wanted to get the spacetoon dolls, It was basically impossible to find any even tho I am Arab and I am living in an Arabic country, I only managed to get fulla! :)_ _Spacetoon was apart of my childhood, basically spacetoon had different themes and they used different planets, so a pink planet basically meant we are getting girly themed cartoons_ _Most of the time we would get anime, I remember I used to watch One piece on there!_

Trying to look for more info regarding kids media & doll lines from Spacetoon for example wouldn’t become easier if your arabic was better because it’s not a language problem. A lot of media from the past wasn’t preserved the way it was supposed to be compared to western kids media for example. I really don’t know why but think it could be because in the middle east no one really was checking for kids media anymore after adulthood. Because of the traditional idea of an “adult” who ‘doesn’t go after kids related stuff anymore’

The 2 dolls that you don’t know the anime that they come from is “Magical Do Re Mi” it was a big show in Japan in the early 2000s...it was something similar to Pretty Cure nyo!

GOD I love both lines. I actually just got some mini Catwalk Kitties samples from China last week. The full sized CWK’s are some of my ultimate holy grails but I only have one and she’s really mangled :( The Barbie ones with the chairs are a grail set for me.

That’s what I’ve heard 🥲 the closest I’ve gotten to finding Arab dolls in a place they actually released (I think anyways) was Singapore but I couldn’t get them to ship to me :( I find Fulla clothes in China ALL THE TIME but never the dolls. So frustrating!! I’ve tried every website I can find from all of the Arabic speaking world that I know the dolls released in and… nothing.
