Firstly, Sorry for the poor British weather. In this one we had strong wind and rain but we did our best considering the conditions.
This Blocked drain was caused by a blocked septic tank overflow to a soak away. when we investigated we were told the property was on the main and first acted as if it was. We quickly discovered there was indeed a septic tank system in place.
We first set out to unblock the kitchen sink gully as we were called to do and it was blocked but when the blockage cleared the water kept coming back, this was the first sign something wasn't right. we moved on to the next IC and found the same situation but this one was not blocked.
we moved on the the final IC and this one was the inlet to a very old septic treatment system. we found the inlet was blocked and once we moved the blockage the rest of the drain line began to empty. However, this was short lived as the septic tank was full above the outlet to the overflow to the soak away pit. we checked the soak away pit and found someone had installed a filter bar on the outlet, likely to prevent rodents from entering the system and intern the house.
we removed the filter bar, cleared it of obstructions and reinstalled it. once the filter bar was cleaned the rest of the drainage system emptied as expected and we were all done.
Thank you so much for watching and reading my explanation, i truly appreciate everyone and i didn't realize so many people would be interested in this kind of content but as i have some how manages to get many subs in the first month i guess i was wrong and i thank you all. i vow to improve and better explain what i am doing as time goes on, as you know im very new to making video and have a lot to learn in 2024.

Well done, mate! When I understood you weren't going to use a gimbal (or stand) and you were going to film the whole 25 minutes (yeahea!!! 25 minutes!!!) with the mouth thingummygig, I was all set-up to pop a couple of Dramamines to fight motion sickness but you did it and you managed to film without it being overly shaky or loosing track of the point of interest. Well done, indeed! The images were clear, you gave a few tips and explanations (people don't always read the description) and you did the job. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable video and looking forward to the next one.

@@Elbows-Deep K. That's what my friends call me, just K. "Serial responder"? I like that! I feel I should be getting help or a court order 😅 I'm interested in what you do and I like to help so if you don't mind me butting in, I'll be giving you some tips as to what I like or not. Please take it as read: in the kindness way. There's still one thing you haven't done, if I may. You haven't introduced yourself and your...employee? Friend? Brother? Stick insect? (Sorry, fan of Victoria Wood here.) It might get people have a bond with you. Make your channel personal and not only technical. Don't share too much, though. Just who you are and what you do or aim to do. You don't even have to show your face if you don't want to. Find your style and your way. People like to feel included in a "gang"/family type thing. I'm all done now. Hope I didn't bore you silly. Take care, mate. K.

Thanks K. your input is precious and in these early days, a god send to have as not many people offer it. Matt is self employed and a friend and i work with him some times and he works with me some times. He came to me with the want to learn and we just naturally started working together. he comes on most drains with me as he really enjoys it but that may not always be the case as there are renovations to do in other business that is quiet at the moment. I will consider doing an introduction defiantly. we are currently moving over to a bigger van at the moment so maybe i will do a little bit of video on that and drop it in but will have to see as its being very stressful to do. Thanks Again K. J.

@@Elbows-Deep You're more than welcome, mate. I think that if you enjoy doing a video, it will show so don't do it if it's stressful or it bothers you. Also, if you want to keep this channel running you need to take care of yourself and make it fun for yourself, too. However many well intentioned pieces of advice I might give you, you're the captain on that ride. I'm only a passenger and can just tell you if I enjoy the view. For now, I'll be pillion. Eject me whe you get tired 🤣 So, all and all, I'm in for the ride. I've strapped myself in and I have a beer at the ready. Ready when you are! 😉👍K.

Thank you for your advice Paddy, Less is more and the little i use is just to fill empty space and to make the channel more cohesive and familiar.

Looks like it needs a pre-filter to stop the spray bar from getting blocked 🫢🙄

It fails me that when you have high pressure water jet that you would try to remove mud and excess grass around the manhole covers you would try and do it with your fingers or rip the grass. A few seconds with the high pressure water you wouldn't use it to clean around the edges and blow out the mud. Work smart not hard!!!

if i had the right jetting nozzle on there i may have done just that but the one i had on would have covered me in grass, mud and what ever else may have been in there. i would have rather not had a face full of something unpleasant. working safe is more key i think.
