Palestine suffers another major heartbreak at the United Nations after the United States vetoes resolution on Palestinian statehood. Twelve countries voted in favour of the resolution including Slovenia, Sierra Leone, Russia, South Korea, Mozambique, Malta, Japan, Guyana, France, Ecuador, China and Algeria. After the resolution, U.S envoy said premature actions even with the best intentions won’t achieve statehood for Palestine.
