Today I go looking for items to resell online at Goodwill in Las Vegas. I start with some friends then see the most outrageous things then follow it up with some fun at Loonfest. My next video will be a storage unit with some big finds.

Omg the pig that’s hilarious! Saw a couple of people arguing over an item, got v loud. The manager came over to see what was going on, quietly took the item, walked in the back -didn’t come back out, and that was the end of that. Problem solved lol 😂 The complaining between the two afterwards was funny as hell, as in, “See what you did? Now nobody gets it, happy now?” They looked so foolish 🤣🤣🤣

My daughters and I frequent Goodwills in Los Angeles. I once witnessed a dispute between an old man and a younger man. It was over some object on a new cart. They exchanged words. Couldn't hear much. Older man claimed the younger man called him a name. I didn't hear that. Older man picked up a heavy object on a nearby shelf and was going to throw it at the younger man until I said, "Stop!" Luckily, the older man put down the heavy object. Employees came over and threw the old man out. I spoke to security, and I wrote a statement of what I saw. The older man was banned from that Goodwill. Yikes!😲

I used to work at goodwill a few years back and it was for work experience and yes I got paid for doing it (worked in the snack dept) and I liked it….but where I was at I was treated like garbage by the assistant manager and so I told my boss and she went directly to her bosses and told them….she ended up getting a day and hours cut because of salty attitude. Also my boss was treated poorly and saw her years later and she told me after 15 years she was let go and found a job working for a dentist office . I won’t ever go to goodwill because of how I was treated there! Workers are treated like garbage.

My two cents. I.m a 25 year veteran seller on Ebay. First Goodwill has changed from night & Day they too know the value of what they put on their shelves 2nd, Ebay has also changed from night & day, they offer more buyer protection than sellers, and their rates have been steadily increasing so nothing unusual to pay 13.25% commission to them and another 4.50 % to Paypal that's a chunk of change to give up. Not like it used to be. on top of that people don't have money to buy dust collecting items.

Waterford "Marquis" is pronounced 'Mar-'key'. It's their lower priced line of crystal and accessories. Chances are the "Last of the Mohicans" box is a fake book where you can hide your valuables. You just put it on your bookshelf within other books.

I just made a trip from Arkansas to Washington State, down the California coast, then back home. We stopped at several GW stores. The difference in pricing between locations IS CRAZY.

I used to love shopping at Goodwill and did so frequently and for YEARS!! I never go in there now though. The combination of the crazy high prices, rude employees, and being told every 5 minutes the store will be closing in __ minutes (starting 2 hours before closing) took all the fun out of it. What a shame. I had become friends with some of the employees. I wish everyone would boycot the store

The eagle is called a mendula (sp). If they don’t have the strings around it to connect to the ring then it’s a mendula. They sell for a higher price usually

Hee-Low Hat-Tee Cool find. They actually were a big time brand for tourists. On Oahu they had a warehouse store with a curbside pull in lane for tour busses. They specialize in those matchy matchy patterned aloha attire for the whole family. Great for photos. But COVID put them out of business. So it will probably become increasingly collectible!
