Ryan, one of the concrete contractors I’ve used brings a couple little paver molds with him to the job. With the small amount of leftover concrete, he throws it into the paver molds. Sells them cheap, or uses them around the yard so the extra isn’t totally wasted.

OK. I'm a 58yo Aussie Male who is disabled. Needless to say I've never concreted. About 3 weeks ago, one of your videos ended up in front of my eyes. I have no idea why, but clicked to watch. It's important to recognise the starting point of any addiction. Since then, I have been binging your videos. I have been engrossed in your family, Team, and general life. WHY? Is there some sort of Betty Ford Clinic that can cure my addiction? My wife wants to organise an intervention. She just looks at me with pity. After watching this channel for about 4 or 5 months I found my self being much more positive and enjoying the work I do. Not going to lie much respect to the Darryls but when I see a full crew working and no one just standing waiting or sitting around your videos give me more motivation to push myself harder when I'm at work. This is a really wonderful channel, and shows how a great boss and hard working well bonded squad should and can work together. I’m really impressed with the quality and standard of work and how the customers are treated. I’m a tradesman too, a UK plasterer and that is very hard work in comparison to this, light duties of muck shovelling! I wish I’d gone to college or done an apprenticeship to learn concrete work instead it looks sooo easy, with big money, early finish, get to drive and own fancy cars and take lots of long rest periods every couple of hours to eat and drink 😮🙄 Oh well that’s life, thanks again for the videos and opening your lives and work to us it’s a real privilege to get to watch. Most tradesmen think their work is harder than the other guys. Concrete work might look easy in the video, but that is relatively "simple" residential work. Commercial/industrial concrete work is much more demanding. That is true of most trades. I would rather do residential electrical than commercial/industrial, but it doesn't pay nearly as good. Installing 1/2"-3/4" EMT, Romex, and mostly #12/14 wire is a cake-walk compared to running 4"+ RMC and hundreds/thousands of feet of 4/0, 250kcmil, or larger wire. Don't let the video fool you, Ryan and his crew works hard.
