I actually beat them once I got a used civic for 2grand had for about a week and gave my buddy a ride up north on way back I spun out and hit a cement block got pulled over down the rode as someone called in thinking I was under the influence but wasn't and cop seemed mad that I wasn't and made me get it towed home and orderd me to have it inspected so my dad called the used car dealer and said that I got pulled over by a cop and have to get it inspected for rode worthiness at first they were like take it to this place and we will cover it but realized that it wouldn't pass and called back 10min later and said we will just give u back ur money my dad went there to pick up an employee to drive it back and give the cheque to me I had a bush in front yard and had it parked so the front left side was coverd by the bush so the guy didn't see the damage from crash and as soon as he left me and my day raced to the bank to cash the cheque before the seen the damage the bank called them up to verify the cheque wich they did and cashed it and took the money by time got back home they called up my dad and were like I think u forgot to mention something to us and my dad was like what and he said this car was in a major accident my dad just played dumb and said no my son qould have told me he was like well why don't u and ur son come down to the lot and we can figure this out and my dads like no were ok and hung up and that was time I actually beat them at their own game the fact that they knew the car wouldn't pass an inspection in first place yet sell the car anyway

I literally just picked up a truck I had ordered about a year ago. A 2022 F550 with the Switch n Go Hoist. Will be taking the weekend to get the windows tinted, the truck lettered, Alcoas installed and some additional lighting and cameras. Always a good feeling adding another truck to the growing fleet. I understand completely Ryan I’ve been in the concrete precast and funeral business since I was 15 years old I’m 58 now had 10 trucks on the road and 12 employees at one time, scaled it back a little. and I still get nauseated when I make a huge purchase I don’t think that’ll ever go away you think of how much work you put into it just to get it how much sweat equity you have invested in it. I drive the same work truck at my company, all besides it’s a flatbed with toolboxes and finishing tools. You are going to love it for towing! It pulls heavy trailers perfectly you don’t even feel them. The only thing I hate about it contrary to what you said is the steering radius is horrible, the rest of our company trucks are rams and fords and they can turn around in our shop no problem but my Chevy will not make the turn around in our shop.

I ran into the same thing with my wife's vehicle. Toyota allocates certain amounts of inventory to each dealership per month or quarter or something like that. So a couple dealerships teamed up to provide a larger selection of allocations between two. So I ordered a vehicle for the first time ever. Supply chain issues forced this model, along with the pandemic. I run the 3/4 ton duramax for my tree business. I had the same line of thinking, I wanted to be able to pull a skid steer in case I needed to. And I have! No regrets on the Duramax. I paid half what you are looking to pay though as mine is a 2017. I've run the DEF down to limp mode lol. You wouldn't regret that buy and it would serve you well.

We have a few of them in the fleet where I work and they are used just about every day with minimal problems Low coolant light when cold and it’s not low And Frnt shock mount issue.. one’s has 89.k on it and it was the first year they made them Great work horse Be careful the hitch will destroy the gate if you don’t have the chains set correct

They do make a bedliner for dump boxes. I think that you shouldn't have a rough surface on the bed of your truck. Decision is not mine. It is just a rough surface and if you ever decide that using as a dump truck. It will stick to the bed of the box.
