Hey family!!! It's Thanksgiving and we're in the kitchen making all the foods! After we eat we go Christmas Tree shopping!!
Cranberry Sauce recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup orange juice
12 oz cranberries
Mix sugars, salt, and orange juice in sauce pan over medium heat. When it come to a boil add the cranberries and simmer/boil for five minutes. Reduce heat to low and let it cook for 5-10 more minutes. Remove from heat. It will thicken as it cools. Once it's cooled down refrigerate until ready to eat!
Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese:
16 oz Elbow Macaroni
12 oz can evaporated milk
1 & 1/2 cups whole milk
1/4 cup butter melted (1/2 a stick)
salt and pepper to taste
2 eggs beaten
20 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese (I like to mix sharp and medium cheddar) You can also use more cheese if you like it extra cheesy! 🧀
Cook macaroni according to package directions. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Then mix all ingredients in slow cooker except for 1/2 a cup of the cheese. Once all ingredients are stirred together add the remaining cheese on top. Cover and cook on low for 3 1/2 hours.
Cornbread Dressing Recipe:
Cornbread
chicken broth
salt and pepper
ground sage
onion
2 boiled eggs
Make cornbread however you like to make it. I use the Martha White or White Lilly southern cornbread recipe. In today's video I doubled it so we would have a big pan of dressing. When the cornbread is done and cooled, crumble it up into a large bowl. Add in salt and pepper to taste, 2 chopped boiled eggs, one whole onion chopped, 1 cup of chicken broth and about 1 tablespoon of ground sage. Mix well. When it is all mixed together add more chicken broth until you get it to the consistency you want it to be. The more broth you add, the more moist your dressing will be. When I get it to the consistency we prefer, I taste it to see if I need to add anymore sage, salt, or pepper. All those are just added to taste. Put into a 9 X 13 baking dish and bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes, until the top begins to brown.

Mashed Potatoes:
10-14 russet potatoes
salt
black pepper
2 tablespoons mayo
1/2 stick of butter
1/4 cup milk
Wash, peel, and cut up potatoes. Boil until tender. Transfer to a large bowl and add in all other ingredients. Mash and stir until everything is combined. We also added a little paprika and some green onions on top this time!
Deviled Eggs:
6-8 Hard boiled eggs
Salt & Pepper to taste
2-3 Tablespoons Mayo
1-2 Tablespoon sweet relish or sweet salad cubes
Mix cooked yolks from eggs with all other ingredients and then add back into the egg white. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
