My waist is a 29/30 normally, I personally choose 42 waist pants when I thrift 😂Anything bigger is too excessive but i think its the perfect fit.

Carhartt styles B151 and B11 give that perfect medium bagginess you're looking for. Just make sure to go down 2 sizes in length cause they fit really long and up 1 size in the waist cause they're a little tight

I had pants that big 20 years ago and had the vertical hard flips and muska frontside flips and never had any issues with them catching on my pants, plus they used to hang super low too lol.

Yeah, you have to get your feet so high to catch those near vertical flips (knees basically to your chest) that the sag is out of the way 👍

The bigger problem is when they're not stretchy they can f up the deep crouch before a trick.

@@bakedbeings i'm not big into self promotion, but I have one of my first parts on my youtube channel, it's my skate part 2001, you can check it if you want, i'm almost 40 now just like Ben, so I was skating late 90's early 2000's, and yeah a lot of my tricks I had to pull knees to chest, I learned that from Reynolds interview, he was talking about getting tricks higher and better and stuff and having a strong core and pulling his knees up higher.

I know EXACTLY what you mean about changing clothes between skating and off board activities. I definitely dont wear super slim clothes and I feel like an outcast at times but I wear carhartt loose fit pants on and off the board cuz I’m also a maintenance guy and like the fit I just can’t wear skinny jeans anymore. 😂

I just bought some groceries wearing black 32 chinos. My skate trousers are black 38 jeans with fixed and unfixed holes in them. Its nice to see a part of the 90's coming back, I draw the line in skinny boards and bearing condoms though XD.

heck yeah! as a 40 year old skater and just started skating back a year ago im struggling to find baggy jeans in the market. even brand new cargo pants are slimmer now. the only way to get it was to go thrift/bundle shop. to be honest, skating with baggy jeans feels way more comfortable and i dont care what society think of an old guy with baggy pants lol #bringbackthe90s

I bought two pairs of Dickies Jamie Foy pants (on sale), i'm almost 6"3 and 240 pounds, yet they still feel too big. As in; i feel a bit ridiculous. The comfort level however is insane, i can move so freely! So even though i dont look the best in big pants, the comfort level is very high. Also, i can totally see them outlast a pair of sweatpants 😎 Also; the product in skateshops here in The Netherlands only goes up to XL for tees and hoodies, and up to a 36 inch waist for pants, even though im a size 38. So even though i want to support my local skateshop, they never have anything in stock that is my size so im really stoked to finally have found a pair of skate-pants that fit well.

It's so funny how self concious you are about wearing them in public xD People probably think I look weird as hell but fuck it! I've been stoked on Televisistar's stuff for a while now, they make all my favorite pants to skate in. I've also had a couple pairs of the old DC Treuper Parachute Pants and those are some of the best skate pants ever. XL/XXL and cinch em up at the waist/ankles👍

omg I wore a pair today because i didnt do laundry and thought my worn down tail was why I couldn't do ollies. And I swear you wouldn't even need a tail if your pants were baggy enough it just carries the weight of the trucks because the zipper wears more than. lol. I couldn’t wear them personally but I can dig the loose fit. I like me some cargos with plenty of room and some stretch but still looks tight. I’d feel like an idiot wearing those big pants though. But who knows, one might be persuaded.
