I make ice cream with that recipe all the time..use the fat free cond. milk. No need for packaged ingredients when you can make it so much easier and more natural. I bet you make it often as well..I just made pistachio ice cream for hubs birthday..using the pudding mix in it

You need heavy cream, sugar, and a flavor (vanilla, chocolate chips or melted chocolate, etc.) For homemade ice cream. No need for expensive package kits, girlfriend!!

I've said it before but I'll say it again. You are such an awesome mom!! I love that you realize the importance of kids having treats occasionally. Also, experiences are priceless & so many parents don't realize that. I'd love to see a video on the ice cream & snow cone maker. $85 well spent on countless hours of fun & family memories! I ❤ my meat masher. I bought mine on a whim one day while I was looking at kitchen gadgets. I didn't even realize it was a "thing." After buying mine I started seeing lots of people using them in KZbin videos & raving about their love for them. Another kitchen item I don't know how I lived without is my spurdles. I'd never heard of them until I started watching Moss Family Tv. Falon uses hers all the time. I order a silicone & wooden set. I haven't looked back since. They come in a variety of shapes, sizes & even colors. I don't have to worry about scratching my pans & the unique shape of some of them help scrape the sides & corners of pots, pans, bowls, jars...you name it. I'm also loving your custom crocheted apron. Already looking forward to your next video ❤❤

Ice cream makers! I have fond memories of Sunday School as a little kid and one Sunday a summer Ms. Willadene would bring in an old fashioned crank ice cream maker and we’d all take turns cranking it in between playing outside and then at the end we’d all get a little paper Dixie cup of ice cream. It was the best ice cream ever. Homemade ice cream is the best. And you can even make fun flavors like peach or blackberry.

Great haul! My tip for the day is mix 1/2 cup of cold water to each pound of ground meat before cooking. This helps the meat to not clump and to have a nice small consistent texture.

Great shopping! You’ll have so many happy memories with the ice cream and snow cone makers. My kids loved them. I still have the electric white mountain my mom bought me about 20 years ago. Use the rock salt liberally and layer with ice. It’s what drops the temperature and allows the ice cream to freeze. I use a rich homemade mix of sweeten condensed milk, 1/2 and 1/2, eggs, whipping cream, and vanilla. It’s fabulous. You can’t buy ice cream like it. We top with home made fudge sauce. My 4 kids all are laying claim to it because of all the memories- birthdays, wedding receptions and etc.

Yes, I believe you are correct about the funnel cakes. The ratio is 2.5 c flour to 1/4 c sugar and baking powder, vanilla, salt eggs, milk etc.

Funnel cake recipe, this makes 1/2 gallon (double if needed) also this will keep up to a week in the fridge 😊 3 c. Self rising flour 1/4 c. Sugar 3 eggs 2 c. Milk Mix until smooth, pour in circular motion into hot oil,(enough oil to allow the f.cake to float) when browned on each side drain on paper towel. Top with powdered sugar or fruit topping. 😉

I always keep my insulated bags in the van. We live so far out in the country plus it’s hot in Tennessee that the bag comes in handy to keep things cool from the store to home. Everyone needs an insulated bag. I wish we had an Aldi closer. You always get the best deals. I didn’t know you are a nurse. One of my daughters is a nurse. I was a dental assistant. Now my other daughter is a pharmacy student. It’s hard to look at scrubs after living in them for years. Thank goodness for thrift stores so I can have a pretty decent wardrobe now. I was just thinking about how to make snow cones at home. I grow up down the street from the famous snow cone shop featured in the Jerry lee Lewis movie Great balls of fire, Jerry’s snow cones. They have the best snow cones! So much so they recently opened a second snow cone shop in a neighboring town. I just remember the humble beginnings and the sweet lady who opened it back in the 70s. When they filmed the movie my mother took off work that week and she and her good friend Sandy stayed up till all hours watching them film. They had the best time. And even got to speak to jerry lee Lewis. I’m always amazed that it looks day light in the movie scene at Jerry s snow cone but it was filmed at around 2 AM. Fun times for our little neighborhood. How cute an egg apron. I definitely need to one of them. My mom loves to crochet. I’ll tell her I need one. She want mind making it and I can share eggs with her. Thank you for another awesome video! Growing up my grandmother always made homemade ice cream in her ice cream maker out on the porch or patio. She would always add bananas to her chocolate recipe. So, a few years ago I purchased an ice cream maker and we make it on our patio every summer. It's so fun, and my kids love it. Pinterest is a wealth of goodness for ice cream recipes, but for awhile I just went with the recipe book my machine came with. You will love this. I cant wait to see the snow cone maker in action, please do a video. I might want one of those too.

I've had an ice cream maker for years. I mainly use it to make healthy sorbet. I make one with 400g pitted tinned plums on their own with no sugar syrup and it was delicious. I hope that you have fun trying different flavours and mixes.

I am going to NY in August for my granddaughter 4th birthday. I would love to see how the snow cone machine works. Also, just a fun thing to do with kiddos. Cut off the top of the pineapple put on top of potting soli in a pot and it will grow. My kids loved to see how it grew.
