Big fish candy! (Catch, clean, cook with a twist!)

Ahoy fisho's! This week I head out to the bait schools to catch and fish with some big fish candy. Every summer these large aggregations attract many different types of predator from dolphins and marlin to wahoo and mahi mahi. My plan is to try catch a black marlin to tick another marlin species off my list. Hooking up doesn't seem to be the problem though, it's landing it!

Hey sammy, next time if you’re stuck with slimy mackerel, do it the filipino way. Butterfly and debone, marinate with soy sauce garlic and lemon overnight. Eat with rice and salsa :) It’s a good breakfast meal for us. We live on slimy mackerel 😂

awesome video. just got into doing live baiting again its so much fun. catching the bait itself can b hell but worth it wen you get enough on time lol plus if a big fish hammers the livie. pretty cool howu caught a small tuna on a sabiki but also how u were getting a full hook up on the sabiki every drop too. n the fact that u were able to get that marlin right at the boat all solo and doing all the work is impressive as!

Nice job on the butterfly at the end. Next time don't flip the flesh side onto the heat, when it's 3/4 cooked through just flip it skin up to a warm resting place and it'll draw through perfectly!
