Hooked into a massive one of these over the weekend from a western port pier. My rod and line wasn't made for big fish as it's mainly a flathead / whiting etc rob/reel/line(3-5kg) After a good 5min fight I mange to some how reel it in so damn slowly(didn't care if i broke the rod trying to get it in as it was at max bend) and got it to the surface right in front of the pier and have a decent look at is and it was around 80cm+ before it shot off under the pier and my line broke. It looked like a Aussie Salmon, no idea what else could it have been as it was green ish on top part like these fish in the video.

what lure is that and where to get it?

It’s a small 4inch soft lure with a twirl at the back. I don’t know that name or it but just search up what I said. A good jig head for if would be a 1/8th size. Have a look an thr zman lures and baitjunkies in the motor oil colours or a light white silver like what he used. You can’t go wrong with those lures.
