Mate i'm struggling with the flow in most the river systems most my fishing was done from non tidal waters but now I'm in a kayak. do you only fish around the high and low a few hours either side? any advice would be appreciated.

Hey mate, when I target Jew I mainly only fish the slack water/tide change but in general with the strong tides I’ll usually go fish somewhere up a creek or maybe fish on the edge for bream and flathead. If you have a paddle kayak it is a lot harder and a bit of a struggle which is why I invested in a hobie

Hey mate would you recommend any hobies I could get used for under 2k? I’ve got a kayaks2fish nextgen 9 right now and am thinking of upgrading to a pedal kayak, cheers

Hey mate unfortunately your not going to get a hobie under 2k unless it’s a second hand one but they are plenty on marketplace at the moment!
