In this second episode of Big Flippers, we begin the restoration process of a digitally controlled analog mixing board from the mid 90's. We start by looking at the dynamics section of the console, which has been malfunctioning since before the purchase. It's a quick fix if you know what to look for. The battery of "certain console death" gets relocated to a safer place. Then its on to channel 12, which sounds like a broken 1" speaker. This is obviously a Big project. Stay tuned for more as we fix up this 1995 Amek Big 28 mixing board to flip.
